The top-level mapping binds the vendor entry OIDs (often "hidden" so one has to know where to poke). It may also be higher in the list of snmp-ups.h, in case the device also serves the older MIB but you'd prefer the

SNMP and OID/MIB/MRTG
Hi all. I am having an issue and quite frankly would rather not spend the entire next two days learning the entire snmp program. I am hoping someone out there has used MRTG and SNMP to make it work. I have both installed. Single server, polling itself. Question 1- does snmpd have to run as a daemon, or only run once so I can get OID and MIBs from it? Question 2- does anyone know the command

NUT driver scheduler
Dear nut-upsdev, I writed one small function to test if batteries was really bad (using solis driver). Isn't so acurated but it's what we need. Just wait 100% batteries charge, turn off input, wait some time (10% from previst autonomy) and turn on input again. Looking startAutonomy - stopAutonomy we can know the basic batteries state. To scheduler the tests I have one new parameter on

solis driver
I use Centos 7.6.1810 in my server with nut-2.7.2-4.el7.x86_64 which contains Solis version 0.60 08/18/2005, my last version. My hardware related by upsc is Microsol Solis 1.5, the same used to develop the driver. It's an ancient nobreak, but i still works, by the way, an excellent hardware, using the third set of batteries. If you need more information, please let me know. Greeting, Silvino.

Getting started generating new MIB-to-NUT mapping for unsupported interface
I'm following advice from Arjen de Korte and Charles Lepple (see http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/nut-upsuser/2010-January/005829.html). I added a full update on the specifics of my situation: http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/nut-upsdev/2011-February/005255.html Would appreciate guidance on getting started generating a MIB-to-NUT mapping (tools, etc): OS: CentOS 5.5 NUT

Problems Generating Scaffolding
I am having trouble generating some of my scaffolding. I''m trying to use PostgreSQL as my back-end. Some of my scaffolding generates with no problem but for other parts I get this: Before updating scaffolding from new DB schema, try creating a table for your model The tables do exist. At least I can see them from psql. Here is the SQL I''m using to create my tables: CREATE

CPQPOWER-MIB - nearly there
I have attempted to create cpqpowermib.h for the snmp-ups driver. We use HP UPSs and version 2 of the firmware for their AF401A management cards use the CPQPOWER-MIB. I have attached my current attempt (which builds and almost works against nut 2.4.1). Once all is working I'll send in the finished article for consideration. This file is based on ietfmib.h. There are a couple of issues

Rails with postgres-oids?
Hello! Postgres supports oids which is a unique number for any row in a given database. There is the ''id'' already inside oids - wouldnt it be nice and handy to turn on some global environemt.rb or database.yaml magic-switch and rails uses the oids internally and transparently on the postgresql adapter, sparing people the need to create auto-increment-serial ids with
