Support for CyberPower CP1350AVRLCD
Greetings All, I'm new to the list and am not sure this is where to start. I have a recently purchased a CyberPower CP1350AVRLCD UPS. I would like to get this UPS up and running via it's USB interface on Ubuntu 8.10 x64. I have tried the available USB driver (usbhid-ups) and the drive was unable to identify the UPS. I have some old and outdated programming experience and would be

IE on Redhat 7.2
Hello. I have a computer running Redhat 7.2 and the Wine pacakge. This computer has no Windows partitions on it. From what I've read it's easier to get programs to run under Wine if you have a Windows partition. I really don't want one because it only has 4 gigs of hard drive space in the computer and I only use if for Linux. Has anybody tried to do this before? Any info would be

collation order
The following caused a hard-to-diagnose problem for a user of the survey package. Presumably this is a strange Unicode thing, but is there a convenient reference for how the collation order is determined? I am surprised that adding the same character to the end of two strings of the same length can change the sorting order. in en_US.utf8 locale > "1//"<"10/" [1]

Non-destructive channel reversal
I'd like to know if there's a way to non-destructively reverse L-R channels in an ogg vorbis file? I've been recording live classical sources, but until tonight haven't listened to them on anything with even approaching decent stereo separation. Well, you guessed it. Why the hell are the violins on the right and the brass on the left? Checked my equipment and sure enough, cable

Vorbis Stuff on Slashdot
I had been working on an essay of my experiences with various codecs for a bit, and when slashdot's post came up, I couldn't help but excerpt part of and post it up there. It got a lot of comments and moderation points, so it's given me some "animo" to fix it up and put the rest of it out there. I'm going to distribute this under an open content license. If anyone

ups.test.result meaning
Hi folks, new to list... nut 2.7.2 on Ubuntu 16.04 with Cyberpowersystems CP1350PFCLCD. After performing upscmd cp1350 at localhost test.battery.start.quick the result was "Done and warning". I searched through syslog but could find no additional information. What is the warning? Battery charge was 100% before test was performed. Here's the full output from upsc after test:

Cyberpower 1500AVR
All, I just had a power failure that caused me a little drama. This spurred me into trying to get NUT up on my cyberpower 1500 again. For about 6 months I tried to get it to work with the new power panel drive with no luck. Today I removed all the old files for NUT and installed the newest version I could find (2.4.3) and it works perfectly now with my UPS. Hopefully now I

change legend character size in image.plot
I'm using the image.plot() function (fields package), but I want to enlarge the characters of the legend (as they are too small to be read in a combined figure), but there is no way I can find a command to do this. I can enlarge the legend bar (with legend.witdh), axis character size (cex.axis) or the total legend size (legend.shrink), but not the character size of the legend characters

How do I debug this? input.voltage: 122.0 output.voltage: 138.0 I still need to check what it does on battery and what the other readings are. But the voltage stuck out at me.

[Bug 662435] Re: megatec_usb driver stopped working after upgrade from 8.04 to 10.04
Hi Michael, thanks for your feedback! I'm cc'ing the NUT users list for info. I've also added an entry for your device (Powerwalker Line Interactive VI 1400, using blazer_usb). Can you please send back an upsc output, and at least check for the shutdown behavior, if not already done: http://new.networkupstools.org/user-manual.html#Testing_shutdowns 2010/10/19 MichaelE <662435 at
