Hello *, I have an All-In-One intranet server <samba3> and usualy a seperated <router> as default gateway, which connect me using HSPA to the internet Now I have installed an Huawai K3765 on my <samba3>, installed "pppd" + usb-modeswitch and removed the default gateway to <router>. OK I can continue surfing trough the <router> and <samba3> is

[OT]: Require suggestions - GSM Gateway <-> Asterisk
Hello, I am looking for ideas and suggestions. I want to use a 16 port GSM gateway as a trunk for outbound/inbound. I will also have two PSTN phone lines coming into the Asterisk server. All calls will go to an IVR on the Asterisk PBX. Outbound from extensions will route to GSM-GW when the dialed number matches a pattern set in the GSM-GW trunk. And accordingly for the PSTN trunks. But that's

Prefered Method for UPS?
Hello, since I had delayed the programming of the UPS Device part, now it is time to continue... My Device is "24 V DC modular ATX PSU" which replace the standard ATX Power Supply in PCs and use 15-43 V Input Voltage. The microcontroller is a TI LM3S5T36 Cortex M3 and I get the "UPS" infos using up to 4 Maxim DS1780 and some I?C current sensors. The ATX PSU has 4

USBHID-PDU datagram
Hello *, I have my "24V DC modular ATX PSU" running yet and it collect already the data form the DS1780 and MAX1036/8. The Microcontroller is a Maxim Integrated Device DS89C450 and the USB-Controller a MAX3420E which works over SPI Bit-Banging. OK, this is now working and enumeration is done... ;-) Now since the PSU is a "Function" I was looking into the Linux

Adding PDU support to NUT
I've recently been working a bit on adding PDU (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_distribution_unit) support in NUT. Some of you might have seen the Powerman thread, which also deals with adding more PDUs support: http://powerman.sourceforge.net/supported.html The result is that we now have support for 2 Eaton | Powerware ePDUs (Managed and Monitored iirc, check http://www.epdu.com). I plan

Can not get my Eicon Diva running with Asterisk...
Hi Guys, asterisk drive me crazy! Now I have tried to use FreePBX but it require MySQL which I can not install du to a conflict with PostgreSQL. Does someone know, how to configure FreePBX to use PostgreSQL? Or does someone know another Asterisk Web-Frontend, without Database? It is realy not funny, to force users to install this monster on an ARM Microcontroller. I need only enterprise

24V DC ATX PSU with limited UPS functionality over USB
Hello Developers and *, I am working on a "24V DC ATX PSU" for Photopholtaik Systems which can have input voltages from 18V to 27.7 Volt and is entirely modular, which mean, you can select the desired module/s (up to 6) from ATX (96/144/240/300W), P4 (144W), SATA (82/305W) and Device (34/68/136W) And last not least, I want to build a "PowerWhatch" module which should be

HID PDU implementation [WAS: 24V DC ATX PSU with limited UPS functionality over USB]

How to start installing a Quad-Devel-Station?
Hello Xen-Users, I am running a Debian GNU/Linux Devel-Station (P2/366 MHz, 512MByte) and use currently chroots which give some problems from time to time. I have following configuration: ----8<------------------------------------------------------------------ /dev/sda1 / 7700 GByte # Master System /dev/sda2 swap 256 MByte # Master System /dev/sda3 /var 512 MByte # Master System

Same output in NUT as from APC tools?
Hello, Since I have now nearly all stuff running on my LH7A404 and now I am working on my DS80C411, I like to know, whether NUT show the APC UPS stats like the APC tools. Currently I do not know, HOW NUT triber the USB-Poert to get out the infos of the UPS. In theory I do send out only arround 5-60 lines of data which then NUT or any other programs must parse or something

APC SmartUPS 2200XL + UDEV + USB = tcgetattr : Invalid argument
I need direction. I don't know what to google for anymore. I am unable to get my SmartUPS 2200XL to be recognized. My suspicions are that it's UDEV or Kernel related. I've updated the kernel to the highest version I feel comfortable with due to other things that run on the server, and I've updated UDEV a bit too. When I plug in the USB cable from the UPS into the server, I

samba with acl support as member auf a samba controlled domain?
Hi I am running a Samba PDC and a Samba member server in his domain. The member server acts as a file server with unix acl's working. Is it possible to get these acl's working under samba to? The docs seem to say, that acl's are only possible if samba is a memberserver in an NT-Domain using winbind. In my case the PDC acts as a LDAP Server and the Member server is gets the unix

Bug: upssched and 3+ UPSes
Hi, I've stumbled over a race condition in upssched when using 3 or more UPSes in combination with START-TIMER/CANCEL-TIMER. I have a solution that works but is ugly, so I'm going to describe the bug here in the hope somebody can come up with a better solution. The problem is in upssched.c:629 check_parent() (see https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/blob/master/clients/upssched.c ).

upssched timer configuration with redundant UPSes ?
Hello list, I have the following hardware setup: - HP C7000 enclosure, with 4 blade servers - two power supply modules in the enclosure (one is enough to sustain the 4 blades) - two UPSes, each one feeding one of the enclosure power supplies I would like to configure NUT to initiate an early shutdown of that environment only if *both* UPSes are on battery. I've created the 2

Please share experience with PowerWalker UPSes
Hello all, I have so far used only Eaton UPSes, but I'm considering buying PowerWalker VFI 3000RT LCD and on NUT compatibility page <https://networkupstools.org/stable-hcl.html> I see that PowerWalker devices are supported by blazer_usb <https://networkupstools.org/docs/man/blazer_usb.html> driver, which is "/based on fragments of publicly available protocol/". Scripts for monitoring NUT UPSes with Xymon
Hello everyone. I recently created a set of external scripts for the Xymon Networking Monitor system to monitor and graph AC input voltage, AC output voltage, battery charge %, battery voltage, and UPS Load % of UPSes managed by the Network UPS tools (NUT) suite. The scripts make use of the "upsc" program to poll the upsd daemon and report the information back to the Xymon server for
