Hi, I'm running the latest stable nut (2.4.3). It doesn't appear to provide support for the Tripp Lite SmartOnline SU1000XLA. Success and USB IDs for TrippLite SmartOnline SU1000RTXL2ua
Hi Matt, first, note that Russell (Kroll) is retired for long. Support request should go to the NUT Users list, which needs subscription. 2010/6/23 matt <matt at mattevans.org> > Experts, > > I have gotten nut to work this evening, with usbhid-ups, and a small > addition to udev, on my new TrippLite SmartOnline model. [EXTERNAL] thoughts on tripp lite Smart Online UPSs?
Re: "Does it work well with NUT?" Assuming it is the SU5000RT4UHV, the similar units I've tried seemed to work fine. For reference, the SU5000RT4UHV should be a 4004 USB protocol. ________________________________ From: David Zomaya Sent: Wednesday, March 25, 2020 5:21 PM To: Lee Damon; nut-upsuser Mailing List Subject: Re: [EXTERNAL] [Nut-upsuser] thoughts on tripp lite Smart

Unknown product ID for Tripp-Lite UPS (SU1500RTXL2UA)
To all, I attempted to configure the UPS tools for the Tripp-Lite SmartOnline 1500VA 2U rackmount UPS. I followed the instructions from the 'upsdrvctl start' output and posted the diagnostic information below. Is my UPS using an unknown product ID as reported? From the mailing list archive, I have found another posting for the same UPS with device model '09AE/4003', whereas

We're looking at replacing some old APC SmartUPS 5000s with something that has USB so NUT can more easily talk with it (and yes, I've tried USB-RS232 adapters and every one I tried started kicking out errors within a few hours). One of the bids we have is for a "Tripp Lite UPS Smart Online 5000VA 4500W Rackmount 5kVA 200V/240V" as the potential replacement unit. I have no

Tripplite Smart1500
Hello, We have a Tripplite SMART1500RMXL2U and nut-2.2.0-6.el5 installed on Centos 5.3. I've been unsuccessful on getting upsmon to work. usdrvctl seems to start despite some warnings/errors: # upsdrvctl start smart1500 Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.2.0- Network UPS Tools - Tripp Lite OMNIVS and SMARTPRO driver 0.11.1 (2.2.0-) Warning: This is an experimental driver. Question about Tripplite SU10KRT3U
Hello list! I can't seem to get this running via RS232 monitoring; I've been told that NUT won't support serial connections, and find this hard to verify. Does anyone else have this running on the SU10KRT3U via RS232? If so, what driver did you use? I'm getting no satisfaction from the "tripplite" driver; upon upsdrvctl start, I get "Failed to find UPS - giving

Socomec UPS
Hi, I am considering purchasing a UPS and want one that I can query from bash scripts. I would assume nut to be the best tool to allow this. I have been directed to a Socomec RT 3000VA UPS. I have previously had MGE Pulsars and interfaced to them with nut's mge-utalk and mge-shut drivers with reasonable success, apart from the odd data stale error. These Socomec units have RS-232

I'm obviously biased but I like Tripp Lite stuff. I try to pitch in and help with Network UPS Tools issues related to Tripp Lite when I can too (albeit the developers and users on this list are usually more helpful than me). Just to confirm, it sounds like you are looking at the SU5000RT4UHV, correct?

Fw: Logistic regresion - Interpreting (SENS) and (SPEC)
Dear Mr Peter Dalgaard and Mr Dieter Menne, I sincerely thank you for helping me out with my problem. The thing is taht I already have calculated SENS = Gg / (Gg + Bg) = 89.97% and SPEC = Bb / (Bb + Gb) = 74.38%. Now I have values of SENS and SPEC, which are absolute in nature. My question was how do I interpret these absolue values. How does these values help me to find out wheher my model is

Thanks. I haven't used that unit specifically with Network UPS Tools, but have used similar (from a protocol perspective) units. I'm working remotely for a while, but on the off chance I get into the position to connect a unit via USB, what Operating System are you using? If the opportunity arises, I can try to set up a basic test. Thank you, David Zomaya Business/Quality Analyst-

CyberPower Value 2200E-GP
I've just set up a CyberPower Value 2200E-GP on a system running Lucid AMD64, with the current NUT package via apt-get, and it seems to be working fine for me with the usbhid-ups driver, so I guess it can go in the HCL? I'm using the system to host several virtual servers under KVM, and to make things simple I set it up to hibernate rather than shutdown, that way all the guest OS
