Alexey, I posted this before, but never got a reply. So I'm reposting this again. In the present HID PDC implementation by PowerCOM, expect problems with the non-compliant implementation of the DelayBeforeShutdown and DelayBeforeStartup pages. PowerCOM - HID PDC status
Citeren Alexander Gordeev <lasaine op lvk.cs.msu.su>: > I've received the units. Are there any special things I should test or > just the standard NUT setup? They should be detected out of the box (with the latest version from the trunk) through the 'usbhid-ups' driver. Note that I just added some additional commands to enable|disable|mute the beeper of the UPS.

[PATCH][RFC] OpenUPS driver
Hi all, I attached a driver for MiniBox openUPS device ( http://www.mini-box.com/OpenUPS) and a dump of the hid usages. I had the possibility to make a few adjustments to the device firmware for HID usages, and although I haven't managed to produce a good structure many issues from previous firmware were at least fixed and new information added. ATM the driver only shows pertaining

POWERCOM HID USB controller update
Dear Charles and Artem, I've recently bought a new PowerCom Imperial IMD825-AP LCD which identifies itself as 0x0d9f:0x0004. At first glance it seems that usbhid-ups driver works fine. But when I tried to shutdown UPS via DelayBeforeShutdown it started double beeping every couple seconds for indefinite time (the same problem described by Vincenzo Colonnella here:

Dino, Alexey, there are a number of users suffering issues with your Powercom devices. Could you (Dino, and Keven if possible) please have a look at the below one, from Angela, and check for a fix? I've scheduled to release 2.6.1 next week, and having that fixed is part of the list. 2011/5/16 Angela Williams <angierfw at gmail.com> > Hi All > > On Friday 13 May 2011 at

Crash when I start driver
It's been a while since I tried to use NUT, so I thought I would give it another try. Big trouble. The UPS is a Tripp-Lite AVR 550U. It has only a USB connector. The computer is running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4. I just installed NUT version 2.2.0. I'm going through the steps in the INSTALL document. # cat ups.conf [igor] driver = usbhid-ups port = auto

Unable to disable beeper on Powercom Imperial IMP-525AP [SOLVED]
Hi Arnaud, I received several replies from technical support. It turned out that according to the UPS serial number it had been manufactured in 2012. So, the device should support the ability to disable the beeper. But still I can not disable the beeper using the latest version of UPSMON Plus in Windows: http://www.pcm.ru/data/download/public/soft/setup_upsmon_v2.9.rar (don't know why; the
