quality and delay test
It there avalible quality and delay test for sip connections for asterisk. Something like to clients making a call with different codecs and measuring delay , jitter ? I know there is a Astertest but in that you need 2 asterisk mashines (which is usually hard to have). I was looking for perl/bash scripts running sip clients in a finite loop + etheral to measure packet properties , gathering logs.

Intelligent audit
Hello, I'm currently using the vfs module "audit" to log actions from users. I would like to be able to detect a massive copy of files from a share. I tought it could be detected by a hudge number of file opens. But each time a user browse a directory in windows, with images or in detailed mode, windows open each file. So samba log a lot of useless file opens. Do you have

New website and call to test / feedback
Dear NUT users and contributors, The first round on the new NUT website is mostly done: http://new.networkupstools.org The general layout has changed a bit to overcome some navigation issues. The Hardware Compatibility List is also finalized, using actual data and providing a static version for browser without JavaScript. There are still a few things remaining, and most of all the conversion of

Panic / EL6 / KVM / kernel-2.6.32-754.2.1.el6.x86_64
Since the update from kernel-2.6.32-754.2.1.el6.x86_64 to kernel-2.6.32-754.3.5.el6.x86_64 I can not boot my KVM guests anymore!? The workstation panics immediately! I would not have expected this behavior now (last phase of OS). It was very robust until now (Optiplex Workstation). I see some KVM related lines in the changelog.diff. Before swimming upstream: Does some one have problems

Communications with UPS denchi@localhost lost
Hi, I always had problems that my Smart-UPS 1500 had "hickups" with nut: Connection would get lost, just to get restored seconds later again. This resulted in annoying log entried and console messages but wasn't too critical. For a few days, nut doesn't detect my UPS at all any more. I get the console messages: Broadcast message from nut at server (somewhere) (Tue Oct 29

Samba creating multiple isntances of the deamon
(2005.10.10, 14:25) I am running Samba 3.0.14a-2 on Fedora 4. I have no problem seeing the Linux file system from any of the Windows (2000, SP4) computers attached to the network. The problem is that smbd processes are created for no apparent reason and never die. I noticed this when the computer had been up for about three days and there were some 600 active smbd processes! What could be the

Wild ideas about fixtures
Hello everybody, I wanted to bring testing to a higher level The first idea was calling a rake script from within the test_helper ... to be honest, I don''t have a clue how to do this ... though I''m probably not going to do this, I would love to know how I could if I wanted too. The second Idea was using using the Fixture script from Geoffrey Grosenbach. also in test_helper,
