upsimage/upsstats: 3phase support
The attached patch is a first stab at adding 3phase support to upsstats/upsimage. I got a little carried away, so bare with me. This patch adds 3phase awareness to upsstats/upsimage and the template files, and in additional to the obvious 3phase variables: - upsstats: * Adds IF/ELSE-awareness, and since the parser logic is rather limited this means that we now have IF, ELSE IF etc since all

hi- i'm using ldap for user authentication, and would like to use different ldap lookups for authentication happening via postfix (smtp auth) vs. authentication happening through dovecot (imap logins). how can this be done, without running multiple instances? thanks! -bt

Replace target.line and target.battery?
Hi all! I propose to replace the variables output.voltage.target.line and output.voltage.target.battery with the variable output.voltage.nominal. The reasons for doing it: * Unify naming, the term "nominal" is used both in NUT and by UPS makers for this. * Very few devices (none that I have seen) have a nominal output voltage that differs when on battery/mains. * A single

Re: [Nemo-devel] nuts status page
Adam: Thanks for putting up this page. But something is wrong. In particular, our Powerware 9135 is a three phase UPS system with THREE 480 volt outputs. So the displayed voltage is not correct -- in fact there should really be THREE voltages displayed, all around 480v. Nut developers: I am copying the NUT mailing list to see if anyone can suggest how to fix this. NUT developers, see the

NUT - General Concept Question
I've been looking over the documentation and several installation guides for NUT, and I'm starting to get a little bit of a feel for what it is. But I'm still not clear whether what I'd *like* to accomplish is actually practical using NUT. Perhaps someone here can tell me if they've done something similar, or if I'm way off base. I would like to set up a Linux host as a

[Nut-upsuser] Nut-2.7.3 & gcc-3.3.6
Hi Charles, Yes, it looks like my g++ does contain STL library which might be just my specific case... However, as a temporary solution I disabled nutclient in Makefile (please find the file attached). And nut-2.7.3 can be compiled now. Digital unix & passwords
I'm having a problem with samba validating against the /etc/password file with Digital Unix. We have 2 Alpha systems, one running unix 4.0d, the other running 4.0e. The 4.0d system is using enhanced security, the 4.0e system is not (the major application for that machine won't run with enhanced security). I have samba 2.0.2 installed on both machines. There are no problems with the

indexing in a function doesn't work?
Hello, I've written a small function that's supposed to save me some time, and it's ending up killing it- the intention is to iteratively subset a dataset fram on framevec, fit a model (either lm or nls depending on type) and return the r2 or AIC from the model, respectively. Although as far as I can tell in my code the plots are dependent on the fit of the model to the data and the

Premature end of script headers:....dispatch.cgi
Hi all, I have a working ruby app that I developed on Window and I am trying to deploy it on Linox with Apache. The hosting company generated for me an empty rails app and I just replaced the files that I modified in my app (only rb/rhtml/css/js files). In addition I updatd the database.yml but now I am getting either page not found or Application error Rails application failed to start

Premature optimization in f_name_cmp()?
I appear to be hitting a case of premature optimization at my site - with rsync 2.6.4pre2: I backup a number of very large systems using rsync, and have been updating as I try and fix various weird problems. It appears that rsync 2.6.4pre2 fixes some of my other issues (timeouts in particular), but now I'm being bitten by very high loads and slow transfers. My current theory is that the
