Description of Zaptel/DAHDI E1 alarms
Hello,
I am missing any description of zaptel/DAHDI alarms. The TE200 series
user manual contains only a description of LEDs states. These alarms
states are visible in zttool/dahditool or in astersick CLI (zap show
status) and I wonder what is the real meaning of these alarms for E1
channel.
Possible alarm states (based on zaptel.h 1.2):
1. No alarms
2. Recovering from alarm
3. In loopback

Asterisk 10/1.6.1 and Dahdi/Libpri compatilities in BRI /PtmP
Hi,
After an upgrade, I discovered yesterday strange things I would like
to share here.
Basically, I'me comparing platforms:
The first one is a 2.6.26 (Debian Lenny) platform, with Asterisk
1.6.1.18, Libpri 1.4.10.2, Dahdi revision 8853 (must be between 2.3
and 2.5, I think).
The second one is a 2.6.32 (Debian Squeeze) platform, with Asterisk
10.5.1, Libpri 1.4.12, Dahdi 2.6.1.
Both are

One PRI card with 2 (or more) Telcos
Hi list!
We currently have a PRI gateway composed by a box with two Digium quad-span
PRI cards (a TE420 and a ).
One of the cards is filled with TELCO1, while the other has first two slots
filled with TELCO2, and 3rd slot with TELCO3.
I am currently having (timer ?) issues on TELCO3 (span 7)
D-Chan (202 as determined by dahdi_genconf ) is constantly failing causing
on-going calls to terminate.

E1 Channel Numbering - Your Comments.
All
This is a small issue that I stumbled onto that has to do with the
channel numbering on an E1 connection into an Asterisk Zaptel/DAHDI
system.
As most of us already know an E1 has 32 channels of which 30(1-15
17-31) are B-channels and 1 (16) is a D-Channel. The 32nd channel is
not presented in Asterisk Zaptel/DAHDI. There are other
configurations but this is the most common.

I noticed that was there, but I didn't try it originally because it's
obviously a beta version. However, I did download it and try it. It does
compile, but doesn't work correctly. For one

All the four lights blinking
HelloI have the following system
Asterisk 1.6.1dahdi 2.2.0.2
TE420P card
Centos
I have noticed that all the four lights are blinking(ie coming red and then
off so on)...
Previously I also noted that when dahdi drivers are not installed lights
blink but one by one in sequence(like in marriage cermonies :P) and after
dahdi installation lights get off ... but this time all at same time
