Queue Member relationship and AstDB
I need clarification on couple of issues of Realtime Queue. It seems that when Agents(Memebers) are added using AddQueueMember, Asterisk puts this Queue-Member relationship information into AstDB, So that on asterisk restart this can be preserved. My question is, why does asterisk not store call information for Queue (holdtime, talktime, W, C, A, SL%) in AstDB, So that it can also be retained

Queues: Knowing when a caller is position 1 (agent phone ringing)
Hello Folks, I am setting up a call center but we have few agents so one agent is able to handle calls of different languages and different queues. For the agent to identify the caller, I want a popup to appear as the phone starts to ring with the caller's number, language (selected in the IVR), Queue (sales, support etc) and any other information (e.g a URL with parameters) I can send this

Position in a vector of the last value > n
This shouldn't be hard, but it's just not coming to me: Given a vector, e.g., v <- c(20, 134, 45, 20, 24, 500, 20, 20, 20) how can I get the index of the last value in the vector having a value greater than n, in this case, greater than 20? I'm looking for an efficient function I can use on very large matrices, as the FUN argument in the apply() command. Confidentiality

Queue position and thankyou message plays even when queue is empty?
I'm in the process of setting up a queue system where the position message and thankyou message are required to play every 90 seconds. However, if a caller comes in to a queue with active agents logged in, and no one else is in the queue, the messages play immediately, and then the agents are polled. Is there any configuration parameter that will disable the playing of the messages if the

playing hold time announcement without queue position announcement
Greetings fellow list members, I have what I think is a relatively simple question, but it did not appear to be addressed on the wiki. I am trying to setup a queue so that it plays an estimated holdtime announcement, but not a queue position announcement. Currently my dialplan does both, and while I know how to take out the estimated holdtime without affecting the queue position

How does Samba know which driver goes with which queue?
I am moving from Samba 1.9.18 to Samba 2.2.2. I have figured out how to install printer drivers into the Samba server from a W2K workstation. But I can't figure out how Samba keeps track of which print queue uses which driver. Any help greatly appreciated. -Rick -- |Rick Cochran phone: 607-255-7618| |Cornell CIT - Systems & Operations - Net-Print

How to have callers not being billed when in waiting queue ? [SOLVED]
Thank you very much, Max, for this valuable and informative answer. Offline billing must be quite complex to set up as several telco may be involved (or origination, transit or termination). Moving to normal landline fare seems much simpler ! Thanks again 2017-03-28 21:41 GMT+02:00 Max Grobecker <max.grobecker at ml.grobecker.info>: > Hi, > > in Germany, this kind of regulation

queue stats last reset date/time
Hello everybody, is there any way to find out when the queue stats ('queue show' / AMI action 'QueueStatus') was last reset (by 'queue reset stats')? These counters would make much more sense if I knew what timeframe they cover. ;) -- marie

caller's identity
I need to understand which is the caller's identity. I'm tring to use the command named SIPGetHeader in asterisk, to get the >From Header of the Invite message, but I downloaded the asterisk version 1.0.3 in which this command doesn't appear. What's the easiest solution of my problem? May I download something else? Thanks in advance, Paolo -------------- next part

How do I get caller's number in oh323 ?
We have an h.323 based IVR platform. When we make a call to it using an h.323 phone, it can see the callers number (ANI), but when we make a call to it via asterisk, the call goes through OK, but we don't get the number. How can I make this work? h323.conf ======= [general] port = 1720 bindaddr = 0.0.0.0 disallow=all allow=alaw dtmfmode=inband [ivr] type=h323 context=default extensions.conf

Why can't I define vars in caller's binding using eval?
In other words, why can''t I do this? def f(b) eval("x = 10", b) end f(binding) puts "x = #{x}" Is there any way to make that code work (besides obviously setting x to something before calling f). get caller's name
Hi, Suppose a function that checks an object: stop.if.dims <- function(x) { if (! is.null(dim(x))) { stop("cannot handle dimensional data") } } This would be used by other functions that can only work with dimensionless objects. The problem is the error message would need to include the name of the function that called stop.if.dims, so that the user knows which function got
