issue with Digium TDM410P
The TDM410P doesn't support 'hvac', only the obsolete TDM400P supports that option was for the old phones that have a neon light (or equivalent LED+ZENER ciruit). Are other phones off the TDM410P (other than the VTECH) working, or is the Vtech the only model with VMWI available to you. I'm not able to check at the moment, I have copied the asterisk-users list, someone else may

AEX410P drops DTMF digits
Hello again list, I'm running a 1.4.42 install on SUSE with an AEX410P card. The DAHDI release is 2.4.0 because the machine won't properly install 2.5 and also won't install Asterisk 10.0 because I can't get a good SQLite3 library to install. Whenever I enter DTMF very quickly or very slowly, app_read des on me. Has anyone experienced similar joy

No incoming audio on Dahdi channels (TDM410P)
A previous issue has popped up and once again I'm out of ideas. During the evenings it seems that the TDM channels will spike (dahdi_monitor) and will refuse to listen for audio of any type, this includes DTMF. The only resolution I know of is to stop Asterisk and restart the dahdi service, but that's not a solution. All channels look like this, even the FXS. [root at asterisk Hardware]#

zaptel 1.2.22.1 on kernel 2.6.22: wctdm24xxp.ko needs unknown symbol pci_module_init
Hi, Before I report a bug on http://bugs.digium.com, I would like to know if someone is seeing the same error message. Personally I am not using wctdm24xxp but other modules such as wcte12xp and wctdm. The latter modules load fine and are compiled with pci_register_driver as expected. The only module that seems to require the deprecated function pci_module_init is wctdm24xxp. Is this normal?

AMI getting related channels in Ringing state
Issuing the AMI Status command results in a list of active channels. But how to figure out which channels are related before the call is answered? 2 channels below are somehow associated, but how can I be 100% sure they are related in order to implement a redirect of the incoming call to another phone ("attended" call pickup respecting call/pickupgroups). TDM410P & dahdi driver == no lights?
Hello, I have just installed an Asterisk server with a Digium TDM410P card with 3 FXO modules (no module in the 4th slot). It's lived on two different machines (a test machine, which had Linux kernel 2.6.28, and a new dedicated machine which has Linux kernel 2.6.32). On the test machine (2.6.28), I used the Zaptel drivers. Once the kernel modules were loaded, the lights on the TDM410P came

"ring splash"
Something new to me. Recently installed a 1.4.30 box for a small office with four POTS lines in a hunt (Digium TDM410P). Had the telco put a "call forward" option on the main line of the hunt. They dial a feature code from their desk phones (Polycom IP450) that results in forwarding the main number to our VoIP service. This is all to let them "try out" our dialtone

tdm410p w/ echo - no full duplex
hi, i just installed 2 new tdm410p's on asterisk 1.4.19 with zaptel 1.4.10. They have the hardware echo cancellers. I am having an issue though, when i talk, it cuts out the other end. So for example, i called up another asterisk box and was listening to the prompts and as they were playing if i said something, it would cut out the other end. so i basically started counting and for the

Help choosing the right card
I have been doing a lot of reading forums and elsewhere but am somehow unable to connect the dots. Here is what I am trying to accomplish initially and then wish for it to grow bigger from here on. I have two POTS (Analog) line that would connect to the Asterisk Box. I have, to begin with 5 IP phones (PoE), all connected to a switch. Asterisk Box with a LAN card also connects to the same switch.

Carrying context from one server to another?
The relevant part of my setup is something like: SIP phones -> local server -> remote server -> SIP-to-PSTN provider I want _some_ of the SIP phones on the local server to be able to get access to SIP-to-PSTN, but not all of them. The local-to-remote connection is IAX2 over VPN. Do I need to set up two separate IAX2 connections, one "privileged" and the other not, or can I
