CDR on Transfer...
I have searched for some time but I have not found an asnwer on how to fix the CDR when a call is transferred. The problem is that if someone dials a cell phone and then transfers the call to another extensi?n the CDR for the cell call stops and there is no way to track that the call was transferred so we can bill correctly. Many people have asked this question but there is no answer, only a

how to return a transfered call to the transferrer?
Hi all Any of you guys could point me in the right direction? I need to make that a blind transfer to return to the transferrer when the transferee does not answer. Scenario: . Miss Jane Doe, our front desk attendant, picks up an external call to Mr. Smith; . Miss Doe flashes, dial Mr. Smith's extension and then hangup; . Mr Smith's phone rings until timeout; . At this point, how

Setting a CDR field from using feature codes...
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I am trying to set the CDR(userfield) to a certain vaule using the application map of features.conf but I am not able to do it. When I receive a call I would like to tag it with a client code (3 digit numeric) so I can referenci it later from the CDR. I have edited features.conf with something like: code => #111,self,SET(CDR(userfield(111)) or

Attended Transfer with REFER
Hi guys, I am wondering (and have been unable to find out thus far) whether Asterisk sets some special channel variables or something when a call is transfered with the REFER method. Basically, I'm trying to figure out if it is possible to somehow get a transferred call back to the transferrer (as it is done with the built-in atxfer) after X seconds (or an unsuccessful attempt). Using a

Possible Bug (Include ${HANGUPCAUSE} in CDR)
Ok I can't get my CDR values to set from the h extension in either 1.6.2 or 1.8 What is wrong? Here is what I found in the cdr.conf ; Normally, CDR's are not closed out until after all extensions are finished ; executing. By enabling this option, the CDR will be ended before executing ; the "h" extension so that CDR values such as "end" and "billsec" may

CDR and transfer
Hello, I was looking into cdr (w/ mysql) before enabling dialout through CAPI, found out that transfered call are not reported as such. For instance, let's say we have 2 local SIP extensions A and B and C is a GSM number. If A calls B and B transfers to C (automatic or after picking up) the CDR shows A calling C. IMHO, It should record A called B then B transfered to C, so that the cost of

Problem with CDR userfield not being set
I'm trying to use the MySQL CDR records. According to dialplan show, the line in the dialplan is: 11. Set(CDR(userfield)=${billing_code}) [pbx_ael] It looks like the value is being set when I watch the console during the call: -- Executing [s at restphone_event_loop:11] Set("SIP/icall-0075a2e0", "CDR(userfield)=boatmenu") in new stack But the record that's

CDR Design
I've taken the liberty of starting a new thread to discuss the design of the Asterisk CDR mechanism. The discussion has been kindly initiated by murf putting together a proposal: http://svn.digium.com/svn/asterisk/team/murf/RFCs. After reading the proposal I still don't think it's the right way to go. To my mind adding more channel variables increases the complexity in a situation

Ignoring time spent waiting in queue in CDR
Hello, I'm working on an Asterisk configuration for a call center, and they bill based on the time spent talking to an agent, but not for any time spent waiting in a queue. The CDR information contains the entire duration of the call as billable seconds, including time spent waiting in the queue. I would like the billable seconds to only include the time spent actually talking to an agent.

cdr question
Hi, Would just like to ask about cdr, i have an asterisk and i would like to bill only outbound calls not extension to extension, when i'm looking at the CDR, i can't figure out which fields i need to filter all outbound calls only. e.g if i dial 00. or 9XXXXXX (for local pstn calls) those are billable, 100 101 or 102 (all local extensions) not billable. *97 for voicemail not billable,

Asterisk's DANGEROUS Transfer CDR's
Hi All, PLEASE READ if you depend on Asterisk CDR's and support transfers. Apologies for the shout but I'm desperate to get others to agree Asterisk has a big problem with the CDR's that are generated for transfers. I can understand why not too many people are interested as transfers are complicated and messy. However for those of us having to support transfers and depending on

CDR on transfers of called ZAP channel
Hello list, I have a problem with called ZAP channels making an attended-transfer or blind-xfer. Signalling at the phones is ok, but the CDR of Asterisk is wrong. At the moment there is a bristuffed Asterisk 1.2.18 running with bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1y-g. Here is my dialplan, I simplified it a bit: [default] exten => 0123456789,1,Macro(dialpstn,${EXTEN}) [macro-dialpstn] exten =>

CDR Analyzer/Queue stats reporting
I've been tasked with finding and implementing a CDR/Queue analyzer to provide information to management about the call center's performance. My Google-fu seems to be returning a lot of things that are more or less abandoned projects. Does anyone have any recommended solutions for a CentOS 6 / Asterisk 10 "vanilla" server? Not opposed to something commercial, provided it

Asterisk 1.4 CDR vs VoIP Innovations CDR
When I compare my total minutes on the bill from VoIP Innovations, to the number from our CDRs, I'm finding a smalish (3-4%) discrepancy in the count of minutes. I'm wondering why it's there. Are there different methods of counting the billable start or end point of a phone call? If it matters, I'm counting more termination minutes than they are and they're counting more

CDR of calls transferred via IAX[2]
Let's say i have a network of * boxes connected via IAX, one of them is a "switch", one or more are the "gateways". - An IAX[2] "customer" register himself on the "switch" (and gets an accountcode for te purpose of cdr) - The customer places a call to the "switch", the switch does some magic and decides which "gateway" the call

Non-matching linkedid on CDR Records [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]
Hi asterisk-users, We have recently moved to the 13.x branch of Asterisk from 11.x, and we're trying to correlate CDR records from multiple-legs for billing purposes. As part of this change we have added 'linkedid' to our CDR table schema in an attempt to join the multiple records into one billable record. The call path can be simplified as (transport types in brackets): SIP

Setting custom field in CDR
Hi, The Asterisk Wiki (page: http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+func+cdr) mentions I can set any custom CDR field I want. Here is the example it gives: ; Update our accountcode field and then save some random music facts too exten => s,1,Set(CDR(accountcode)=8675309) exten => s,2,Set(CDR(MyFavoriteBand)=Foo Fighters) exten => s,3,Set(CDR(MyFavoriteSong)=Hero) I am

How to get CDR to show answered calls only
Is there anyway to get CDR to show just the answered calls. Not by exporting to a spreadsheet and editing. We have ring groups and queues and CDR shows everything as calls received. Even if it's multiple extensions ringing it shows them as multiple calls received. This seems kind of goofy.
