I was editing files manually, and noticed that if I include the
familiar "fxsks=1" in /etc/dahdi/system.conf, Dahdi fails loading:

[Dahdi 2.4.0] DAHDI_CHANCONFIG failed on channel 1
Hello
On a brand new CentOS 5.5 host, I wanted to install Dahdi before
installing Asterisk 1.4.x.
So I untarred dahdi-linux-complete-2.4.0+2.4.0.tar.gz, followed by
make, make install, make config.
Next, I created the following files from scratch:
============ /etc/modprobe.d/dahdi.conf:
options wctdm opermode=FRANCE
============ /etc/dahdi/modules
wctdm
============ /etc/dahdi/system.conf

No matter if I use the entry-level OpenVox A400 with a single FXO

Starting and installing Dahdi (2.2.0)?
Hello
Unless I overlooked it, the "Asterisk Reference Information
Version 1.6.1.6" at www.asterisk.org/docs doesn't include instruction
on how to start Dahdi when used to drive a TDP PCI card (OpenVox A400P
with a single FXO module
www.openvox.cn/products/show.php?itemid=20&lang=2).
I'd like to know...
1. How to start Dahdi manually. Is this the right way?

(euro)ISDN: complete silence / can't hear a word.
Hello,
I just got my isdn-card working together with i4l and asterisk.
Everything seems to be working fine: I can accept calls coming from the
outside and I can dial out. Even setting the msn works like charm but my
problem is that I cannot hear a word. There's complete silence in both
directions.
Any idea what could be the cause?
Thanks for your help,
Gunther

NetJet and RAS
Hi,
Last weekend I was planning to buy a physical PBX system, but instead I
have been blown away by the fact that VoIP really works, that Asterisk
is so easy to set up and use... and free!
We're in Australia, so as I understand it, we aren't allowed to use the
Zaptel cards. We need to set up our system to route incoming 56K data
calls to the PPP daemon on our Linux box or to our

DTMF Tones During Call
Hi,
I am receiving calls via a Netjet-S card on asterisk, and I notice that
whenever I am talkimng to someone, if their voice is loud enough, sometimes
asterisk generates a DTMF Tone as they speak. that is played to me. (Caller
doesn't hear it).
Any ideas how to stop this?
