Broadvoice international dialling question
I'd be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. I have a Broadvoice trunk attached to Asterisk which I use for frequent calls to the UK using the following in extensions.conf exten => _0[1-68].,1,Ringing exten => _0[1-68].,2,Dial(SIP/BV/01144${EXTEN:1}) exten => _0[1-68].,3,Hangup The caller hears immediate ringing, though it seems that Broadvoice

Asterisk With Broadvoice
I have configured asterisk with the AMP php configuration utility. I am able to make outgoing calls through broadvoice but incoming calls are sent to BV's Voicemail and never actually enter the IVR. When I show sip debug info through the asterisk prompt it actually reads the incoming call from BV but then issues a busy signal sending the call to BV's voicemail. I also modified

I'm FED UP with BroadVoice
After months of BroadVoice ignoring my trouble tickets for dropped calls, delayed termination, etc., I'm throwing in the towel. While they have credited $19.95 to my account, they refuse to credit anything more, despite ALL of the problems I've had. I feel the least they could do is credit the remaining $8.61 to my account, yet they won't. I haven't really been following up on

Broadvoice outbound 404 error
Is anyone else experiencing 404 errors on outbound dial with Broadvoice? I've followed the instructions posted by Broadvoice to configure sip.conf, and inbound calling works fine. Every time I try to dial out, I get a 404 "Not Found" error. Here are the relevant sections from my configs. sip.conf: context=broadvoice-in register =>

Broadvoice europe plus calling plan quality
Hello All, I am trying broadvoice's europe plus calling plan for unlimited to Poland. My first attempts though, were not that good. I could hear the other side, but they could not clearly hear me. Is this because broadvoice's connection just is not up to par? Has anyone else been using this plan to europe and had success? Regards, Greg

Help With Broadvoice
Hi all, I am trying to configure my Asterisk PBX to connect to a broadvoice account. I want incoming calls to go to the "s" extension and to ultimately have outbound calls routed through my broadvoice account(s). I cannot for the life of me get this to register correctly. I am currently receiving this message on the console: Failed to authenticate on Register to

USING TWO ACCOUNTS WITH BROADVOICE
Hi, I have two accounts with broadvoice. Now, I want to be able to distinguish between them. I though that this would be simple by adding "/EXTEN" at the end of the register statement. For example: register => num1:pass@sip.broadvoice.com/1000 Unfortunately, this is not working. When I call into my box I hear busy tone. My config looks like this: [root@voip asterisk]# cat sip.conf

Asterisk@Home, AMP, and Broadvoice
Egad, not again with Broadvoice! Anyhow, I recently installed AAH and configured my TDM11B and got that and some SIP phones working. I still have some issues to work out, etc, but my current problem is Broadvoice. I have checked out all of the online resources, including the recent list exchange about the recent changes made by Broadvoice. However, the one thing I have found to be consitent in

BroadVoice usage?
Hi all, I've been trying to use BroadVoice as a SIP service provider. They don't officially support * but are helpful when it comes to answering questions for setup parameters. They claim they have no firewalls or access lists that need to be set up so I can get access to their servers. However, something's still not quite right when I use the parameters. It looks like our Asterisk

Workaround for BroadVoice and possibly others...
I have an idea, tell me if this wouldn't work... I know it's really ugly, but it might help some people until we can get round robin DNS checks for peers... Since * does not do GetHostByName() again until you reload your config, and BroadVoice and I'm sure other sip providers are using round robin DNS, why not create 2 [<your server here>-out] contexts in sip.conf, and then in
