Vocera Comm Badges
Hi,
has someone ever got their hands on the Comm Badges from Vocera ( http://www.vocera.com/ ) and knows if they use anything standard and could work with asterisk, or does someone know an alternative to their really small, light devices?
Regards,
Andreas

Vocera Communication Badge
Hi there,
yesterday I came across the "Vocera Communication Badge" and now I'd like
to know if anyone here has played with that thing (or even just seen it
in real life), and if a price tag can be found for this device?
Too bad they don't use SIP... ;-(

adding agent with 2 phones to a queue
Hi!
We have alot of users who are having 2 phones, 1 fixed and 1 DECT.
I am looking for a way to log them into a queue and let both phone rings.
Let me try to explain:
0317998975 is a fixed phone, 0317998985 is a DECT. 0317998989 is a queue.
queue add member SIP/0317998975 to 0317998989 works ofc.
sip*CLI> queue show 0317998989
0317998989 has 0 calls (max unlimited) in

Site badges / certification?
There may have been a topic like this already, but I tried all the search terms I could think of and didn't come up with anything. Apologies if this has been answered before.
Is there a badges that makers of Windows software can put on their site that show the WINE compatibility rating with their software? I just had a mental image of people putting a badge with a link to their

Wine certification and corporate cooperation
Is there an effort to produce a wine certification? A badge/sticker that can be placed on a product to say "also runs on Linux using wine"
Or perhaps, where the OS badges are placed a little tux and glass of wine.
This would give companies an easy way to get there app running on Linux and provide a reason for them to contribute to Wine.
Perhaps more important even than the badge would

How do I use Internet Explorer 6.0 in Wine 1.1.3
Hi I just installed Wine 1.1.3 a couple of days ago, on my Acer Aspire 3623 Laptop (256MB and 40G HD) running PuppyLinux 4.0 OS. I installed Wine because I am taking an online math course at college and it needs a Windows OS and Internet Explorer 6.0 to run.

Dictaphone Freedom interface to Asterisk ABE
Hello list,
I am trying to find a solution for interfacing a Dictaphone Freedom recorder.
Currently, 4 POTS lines interface to the recorder, and the future will have the 4 lines coming into an ABE server on PRI.
The Freedom system is using a standard amphinol connector to a punch down block, where the 4 lines, shared with a Nortel Meridian system, are located.
The lines are analog, and per

php agi and get_data errors.
Hallo,
I'm using a self-made script to get the code a user enters on my applications.
Sadly, the code doesn't work, i push the digits, but the result is
always an empty data.
(code=200, result=1, data= '').
Here is the code:
set_time_limit(99999999999999);
require('phpagi.php');
$agi = new AGI();
$agi->answer();
function printdebug($a) {
global $agi;

peer-to-peer RTP trouble in SIP
Hey,
We have asterisk 1.2.4 (old I know) with a couple of snom
phones, a couple of grandstream phones and around 65 philips
dect stations.
Now the problem:
All calls do peer to peer RTP except the calls from dect
station to dect station.
snom to dect or dect to snom do peer to peer.
So the sip config looks fine because all the 'static
deskphones' honor the REINVITE and start talking to

Asterisk 1.8 -- queue not recognizing that agent is busy
Hi All,
I've got a realtime queue in place (strategy is "wrandom"), and have
added a member dynamically via "queue add member ". My agent shows in
the queue, but when he gets the call is not recognized as "In Use".
Here is the output from "queue show" prior to the call:

DECT to SIP gateway experiences
G'day. I hope this isn't off-topic for the list.
I am looking at an Asterisk setup that includes cordless phones. The
three choices I can see, at this stage, are:
* wifi phones
* an ATA and a cordless analog phone
* a DECT to SIP basestation
The various wifi phone options don't grab us as suitable -- they are
costly, have poor battery life and even the best have pretty mixed

Silence suppression problem with DECT phones and g729 codec
Hello,
I have been experiencing audio problems when accessing the Voicemail
application using DECT phones and the g729 codec. The issue is that whereas
the vm-password is always played correctly by the DECT phone, the rest of
audio files, randomly, are played or not by the DECT phone. Everything works
correctly if another codec (alaw,ulaw) is used.
I have noticed that asterisk doesn't send

Anyone that know of DECT "client" for asterisk?
Anyone here that knows some hardware USB "client" (DECT) that can connect to
a DECT base station and act as a "provider" in asterisk?
Ergo, asterisk is the DECT handset, and connects to the DECT base station.
Its also important that it also works with most asterisk-compatible devices,
including for example raspberry's.
The reason I ask, is that many providers in

Com-on-Air - DECT card
I've received my Com-on-Air DECT card this morning and while I have configured it (both the DECT registration and SIP to Asterisk configuration), I am running into a "Call missing Call ID from" error message. I can call from a DECT handset to an extension, but not the reverse.
Not being an expert, it seems to me that Asterisk is looking for a CallerID from the DECT card. I
