DAHDI fun and games
Hi Listers, I'm running 1.4.25-rc1 on opensuse 11.0 with dahdi-linux-2.1.0.3, dahdi-tools-2.1.0.2, libpri-1.4.7 and snapdsp.0.0.2. Incoming calls work fine. Outgoing calls made directly (exten => s,1,Dial(DAHDI/G1) then number work fine. The problem I have is trying to let Asterisk make the call (exten => s,1,Dial(DAHDI/G1/5551212,,r). If I use "m" (moh) the

E1 PRI configuration: DAHDI and LIBPRI
Hi All; I have an E1 card with two ports for ISDN PRI. Do I need to install DAHDI in addition to LIBPRI? For placing outside calls (outgoing) via the PRI, then in the extension.exe file, I will use the Dial function? But how can I determine that I need to use the PRI channels and not the analoge channels? Last point: how can I know that asterisk is containing libpri? In other words, how can I

Kernel/Asterisk/DAHDI/Libpri version matrix?
I googled about a bit without success, so... Is there a version matrix available? Something that would say: for kernel version w, you can run up to version x of Asterisk, DAHDI version y, and libpri version z? For example, I have a bunch of remote hosts running kernel 2.6.26, Asterisk 11.6.0, and DAHDI 2.7.0.1. We experience occasional Asterisk crashes, so I'd like to get as up to date

Latest DAHDI/libpri/Asterisk 1.8 & 1x BRI port HFC based ISDN card?
Hi, I would appreciate some advice on the following: how does one use a single BRI port HFC chipset based ISDN cards with the latest DAHDI, libpri and Asterisk 1.8? For Asterisk 1.4 I would first install mISDN & mISDNuser and then build Asterisk 1.4. Now I noticed that Digium's HFC chipset based B410P is supported by the latest DAHDI & libpri but reading the source of the

Which dahdi/libpri combo for BRI/PtmP ?
Hi, I need to rebuild a system which has 4 BRI ports and is connected to Point-to-multiPoint lines, in a country where telco often "drop lines for energy savings". I'm planning to use latest 11.4.0 asterisk version along with dahdi and libpri (no misdn). Which version are recommended for Dahdi and Libpri ? My main requirements are, beside having calls coming in and out: - keep a

Hi Guys, I have to upgrade to latest Libpri 1.4.10.2 due to an existing bug in the current 1.4.10 version. I am running Asterisk 1.4.x (in fact it is a PBXinaFLASH system). How can I upgrade to the latest Libpri? Do I need to re-install Asterisk? Won't that break the box? Can I simply do this to upgrade: *rm /usr/src/libpri/*.** *rm -rf /usr/src/libpri/** Download the new libpri and put
