Use Snom phones.
We have had around 6 participants, without problems. In theory you should be able to have around 12 people on a conference on a snom phone.

BLF and Snom phones
Hello,
I am having some troubles with Snom phones and maybe someone can help
me.
Let me say this: BLF and pickup works great with Polycomes and
Grandstream etc... So I think my problem might not be Asterisk related
but I am not 100% sure.
The snom phones subscribe to my extensions (hint priority) as expected.
The light blinks (ringing) or is turned on (in the call) as expected.
My problem is to

SNOM phones stay "in use" after transfer
Hello,
Before I dig into the SIP traces maybe someone has a clue:
We have a few Snom phones, and the call-limit on the extension associated with
them is set to 1 (so the other Snom phones can blink the relevant LED).
When I call a SNOM phone (300 with the latest firmware) and the call is
answered the phone is in "in use" state (verbose printing from Asterisk). When

Softphones with RPID and BLF
Hello,
I am looking for a softphone which supports RPID (displaying the called
party name) and BLF features. I couldn't find one so far...
Any idea whether such a softphone exists?
Thanks! __Yehavi:

Trouble with call pickup using RPID with Cisco
I have a Cisco 1760V with FXO ports hooked to POTS lines talking SIP to
asterisk 1.8.15.0.
imagining in extensions.conf:
exten => 1,1,Dial(SIP/121)
exten => 2,1,Dial(SIP/121&SIP/122)
When a caller dials extension 2 /and/ I have
trustrpid=yes
generaterpid=yes
sendrpid=yes
in sip.conf and I use the pickup exten, the caller is disconnected.

Lastest SVN (1.4) and realtime call limit
Hello,
I am running version 1.4 with realtime support. I've set (for Snom phones
300/320/360) a call limit of 1 (incominglimit and outgoinglimit fields in the
database).
- When I used 1.4 SIP SHOW PEER show that it has a call limit of 1. The problem
was that when such a phone received a call and did attended transfer it
was left "in use" and could not receive new calls.

Snom 360 Phones - Administrator/User Feedback
I'm looking for some feedback on the Snom 360 phone. After deploying six of
them to an office, I'm not as enthusiastic about them as I was when I was
testing one before the deployment. The firmware seems to be consistently
buggy, some of its problems are intermittent which makes it frustrating to
troubleshoot and the support from Snom is lackluster to say the least. I
find myself favoring

I concur with Conrad. Cisco phones were retrofitted for SIP, whereas
Snom phone are built around, and expressly for, the SIP standard. To be
in compliance with Cisco regs, you are also supposed to have a SIP User
license and a Smartnet contract for each phone if you abide by their
program. I realize it is not difficult to obtain the SIP firmware, but
if you were dealing with a Cisco authorized

TCP<->UDP SIP proxy?
Hello,
One of our faculties have Microsoft's LCS and would like to connect it to
our Asterisk system. the problem is that Asterisk talks SIP over UDP while LCS
talks SIP over TCP with TLS. Anyone can recommend a gateway between these two
protocols?

echo in Snom 360 phones
Hi all,
One of my users reports frequently hearing echo on her Snom 360 phone,
even while talking to other Snom phones (via Asterisk) on the same LAN
(i.e., all-digital low-latency connection). I can never reproduce it
though, and swapping the phone didn't help.
Has anyone else seen "mystery echo" on Snom phones? Any suggestions for
debugging?
On my own Snom 360, I sometimes

call pickup with snom phones
hi,
is there anybody who was able to setup call pickup with a snom phone?
searching through the web brought up this:
http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk+phone+snom
section "call pickup"
but this doesen't seem to work with current releases of the snom
firmware (and looking through the patch of easywe it never worked very
good at all)

Snom Phones Volume
Good Day List,
I have several different SIP Phones running on my asterisk box.
I have recently purchased a snom 190 and a snom 220.
They work great, EXCEPT I have to have the volume turned all the
way up in order to hear the conversation on the other end.
All the other phones Zultys 4x5, 4x4, 2x2, Cisco 7960, Wooksung
2000... all behave fine and volume is set to middle of the range and I

Powering SNOM 200 phones?
Ok, not exactly an Asterisk problem, but...
I picked up some SNOM 200 phones because SNOM's have been recommended for use
with Asterisk and they have line buttons that can subscribe to presence.
However, they don't appear to power up when connected to my Negear FS108P,
which is an 802.3af Power-over-ethernet capable hub. I am pretty sure
these are the SNOM 200b, in that the ethernet

Hi There,
Does anyone know how to program Snom phones using a Mac addresses like what
is done with the Ciscos. I have about 50 extensions to be programmed and I
am hoping there is a way on Asterisk to program extensions on the snom
phones. Please assist.
