Hi guys, My site ( http://shunya.in ) recently started receiving some spam and I had ignored the issue till it became a problem, and I guess it is becoming a problem now. I looked around on suggested ways to address the problem and found two systems - CAPTCH and Akismet. I consider both of them in this email along with the reasons why I am debating using neither of them. Then I ask for your

setup_exception stack overflow
Hello, I'm relatively new to Wine and not much of a Windows guy. I have a in-house application that I'm trying to run under wine. I can pass an option for the number of threads I want to run. It's console based. I compiled Wine from the latest source; RedHat 8.0; gcc 3.2. I can run 50 threads cleanly. But if I increase to 100 or more, I consistently get this error:

err:seh:setup_exception
Hi All I have successfully installed wine-20050310 and could run Norton Commander with Wine with no problem at all. However, after installing VGASYS.FON, SSERIFE.FON, and SERIFE.FON exactly as described in Wine User Guide, I tried to run it again with Wine. But I received the following error message:{{{ err:seh:setup_exception stack overflow 672 bytes in thread 0009 eip 401c88fe esp 40730d60

Trouble with Team Fortress 2
Greetings fellow Wine users, ????????I saw a prior message in the archives from 'darckness cyrix12 at cox.net' mentioning a problem trying to run TF2. I'm running on the latest git, or wine-0.9.45-426-g71d70f0, and appear to be having a similar problem. I have a gzip of a log with WINEDEBUG=+tid,+seh,+loaddll,+d3d,+d3d_shader, +d3d9 [1], running Steam and attempting to launch TF2.

Sync use accounts between appdb, wine-bugs and wine-forums
Currently, I have two accounts : one for wine-bugs and one for appdb. That doesn't annoy me as it is, but that would be cool f those were merged together. I don't know if it is possible, since appdb, bugzilla and phpbb are three different php programs, but that would help new users to participate on every side of wine. By the way, I saw that my tr'd message went on a new thread on the

err:seh:setup_exception stack overflow in own application
Hi, we have a own C++ code running usually on Linux and OS X. The code is known to run on Windows compiled natively. It is a text-based academic code (Finite-Element) using some Fortran Libs compiled with the cross-compiler and Intels MKL. Now I cross-compile the code using mingw 6.2.0 from openSUSE. We have a testsuite for our code with 150 complete test runs (the whole application runs

This is very unclear and confusing. You will *always* split THPs when inflating 4k pages and there are THPs around. This is

not directories, the contents of the windows registry. I havent yet managed to workout what file(s) this is stored in in win, but you can export keys from the regedit program in win. The majority of programs store keys in /local machine/software/<app name> for these you should be able to export the key folders to a text file and import that into Wine. btw, when I did this I think the

Win98 clients accessing Samba file server.
HI All I'm in the process of setting up my first Linux box at work, a basic file server for all 20+ Win clients (I'm sick of paying M$ CAL) all have a 'home' directory and all share a 'shared' directory. What my problem is, everything is working OK with WinXP/2000 I can see the shared directory and our own home directory on the Samba box. With Win98 I can only see and
