Druid Open Source Edition
I have recently noticed that druid @ http://www.voiceroute.org has created
an open source edition of their platform. I downloaded it today and
installed it on a play system where I have about 20 ip phones ranging from
cisco, polycom and aastra phones. I didn't even have to configure them as
the system automatically did it for me. I have been using trixbox/freepbx
combination for over that last

Call Logs
I'm impressed with the call log reporting that Switchvox offers. There's
a screenshot here: http://www.switchvox.com/sv?cmd=screenshots&pic=13
Can normal Asterisk do this? I installed AsteriskNow on an old computer,
but I couldn't find anything like that in the GUI.
I found the CSV file in /var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv, but that's not much
help unless there's some other

Hi,
We have recently setup a Live Demo of DRUID our Asterisk management interface

of that feedback into our new updated release.
Feel free to download the trial, checkout the live demo or buy a copy :)

PRI TE110P Configuration (Solved)
Hi,
The problem solved
After installing new zaptel drivers, we ran the "genzaptel" command to
generate /etc/zaptel.conf file, checked with "zttool" command and the card
status was "Yellow alarm/Blue alarm/Recovering" and the card LED was
blinking red and green.
The problem was with the generated zaptel configuration., but not with

Disk Druid - control RAID partition layout?
Is it possible to partition a disk with Disk Druid and control the order
of the partitions? I want to create my own boot and swap as RAID
partitions but Disk Druid won't keep them in the order I want, no
matter what I specify first. I've done this before by using fdisk
to make the partitions before starting Disk Druid but I thought
someone said this was an old bug and should have been

Trial Version of Asterisk Interface Available
Hi All,
Voiceroute http://www.voiceroute.net has released a new version of the DRUID
Web-interface for Asterisk. There is a free trial edition available as well
as a live online demo both can be accessed through the website.
Tons of new features and extensive use of Ajax makes it a very easy
and powerful application to use. Druid makes use of your asterisk
configurations and does not damage old

hotdesk and voicemail
We have several types of phones,
cisco 7940/7960
aastra 55i/9113i/
grandstream gxp2010
I want to be able to implement hotdesking where an agent will logon to
any phone. I got all of that working, without having to reboot phones,
but then hit a brick wall.
Voicemail.
I still want each phone to use the BLF for voicemail indication, and to
use the "voicemail button" to dial

Grandstream 2010 and blinky lights
I am using 1.4, and have the above device, and it worked really well
with monitoring 18 "hints" aka devices.
Now, I've moved us to a hotdesking paradigm where the user is the
"extension" not the device. IOW if I dial 1234, I will get user 1234
(who happens to log on to device ABC today, and DEF tomorrow).
Can I make the GXP monitor user 1234, not extension 1234 ?

GotoIf redirection to label not working correctly
I run a hotdesking system based on the example from Asterisk: The Definitive Guide. Calls come into the [hotdesk] context, which verifies the phone has a logged in user and sends the call to users,${EXTEN},1 if there is a user logged in. The [users] context then includes several other contexts for internal/external call handling, as follows:
[users]

ARGH!!! Instal fails at drive format time
Got all the way through the selection of packages. All those time
consuming tasks and the install got to formating the drive and crashed
on a format error!
Since I know exactly how I want to lay out the partitions, is there a
way I can boot from CD, and get into Disk Druid to set the partitions
and do the formating. Then when I come to the install just select to
keep the drive how it is?

partition woes (mapper/isw_bdihgcgahe_Volume0p2)
Hi,
I found 2 identical drives lying around and put them into a system.
When booting from a Centos 5.x installer, and when being presented
with the formatting option (disk druid), it says I have 1 volume of;
mamapper/isw_bdihgcgahe_Volume0p2
I can't seem to get rid of it. I have 2 physical disks but disk druid
is seeing 1 volume thats the same size as one of the 2 identical drives.

Asterisk 11 queue calls - emulate Dial(b) functionality
I currently run an Asterisk 10 system with hotdesking functionality set up. Several of the users have worked with a system in the past that supported BLF on their IP phones, and would like their current phones to behave in a similar fashion. Right now I have a really kludgy system that mostly works, but doesn't consistently trigger the cleanup macro to "clear" the device state on
