Preparing to use * for a 'real' installation shortly. Meanwhile, I've got a single port clone thing, 00:06.0 Communication controller: Motorola Wildcard X100P working to answer my landline and send calls to my laptop or voicemail. Sweet! Trying to "call out" from linphone, I set up this: exten => _X.,1,Dial(DAHDI/1,${EXTEN}) Both SIP client and this extension are in

Can I tell if a call picked up on PSTN extension... for example?
Don't know enough to properly term the problem I'm seeing... sorry if subject appears vague. And I have other questions too, but "Newbie Help Wanted" isn't exactly more specific... ;-) My setup, intended for testing and all, "*" version 1.6.0.6, dahdi with an X100p clone. Regular phone line provides PSTN access with one port (and my DSL). Calls come in and are

Problem getting TDM400P clone card to go off-hook and dial
I am having problems getting a Nicherons TDM400P wildcard clone to dial out. Everything appears to be configured correctly, but although I see call progress, it never seems to actually pick up the phone. (The following is a test of 911 emergency, where I substitute 811 [repair service] as the actual number dialed.) *CLI> -- Executing [911 at from-internal:1]

Configuring chan_dahdi.conf for Sangoma A200/Remora FXO/FXS Analog AFT card
Hi I have been having a rough time getting a Sangoma A200/Remora FXO/ FXS Analog AFT card set up properly. The main issue is that the card has four ports and as far as I can tell Asterisk is only seeing two. On the two that it recognizes the "Green" FXS ports are not green, they just are not lit. The "RED" FXO ports are indeed red, but from what I have read your not

Something wrong with DAHDI signalling according to the CLI
I have Asterisk 1.4.24 en a Digium TDM410 with EC and with 3 FXO modules. When I plug one PSTN-line into a FXO-port I am able to receive calls on this line and I can also make calls from an internal SIP-phone to the external PSTN-network. Still I am bothered about something that appears on the CLI when I do a reload chan_dahdi.so : asterisk*CLI> reload chan_dahdi.so -- Reloading module

DAHDI congestion problem
I am unable to dial out over a Wildcard TDM400P. This was working previously, so must have messed up the config somehow. I'm running Asterisk 1.6.0.15, with FreePBX 2.5.2.2. What makes TDM400 FXS Connection to TELCO go into Off Hook State?
I've been having trouble with making outbound calls to my TELCO from a TDM400 card (FXS KS signalling) after upgrading from 1.6-beta9 to 1.6.0. The problem is completely intermittent. Ok so this is officially driving me crazy. I have an Asterisk 1.6.1.6 install with DAHDI/DAHDI tools (latest) and an OpenVOX TDM400 card with 1 FXO port and 1 FXS port. I have a POTS line from my phone company attached to the POTS line. I have asked for "disconnect supervision" to be provisioned on my line and they claim to have added it. However, my scenario is as follows: I receive a
