Obtaining callerid on a PRI for billing purposes (with non toll-free numbers)
I'm thinking of starting a partyline, where people call in and talk to other people. For record keeping and billing purposes, I'd like to go by the callers telephone number. This method works fine as long as the caller doesn't have callerid blocked, but what are my options if they do block their number? I know there must be a way to report it, because there is a service provider here

Slightly more advanced dialling..
Hello, I'm wondering if it is possible to ring X number of extensions simultaneously, and each answered call can be handled with some code. I can do a huntgroup-esque way of dialling, but I want all the dialled numbers to be picked up. I hope this makes sense.. If not please say.. Many thanks! Rollover oddity
Hello, I've got 2 analogue lines (from SBC) coming into a TDM22B. SBC have put rollover from the first to the second line. The rollover works fine when handsets are connected directly to the lines (ie when Asterisk is not involved), but when the lines are connected to Asterisk, the rollover fails: the caller just hears the line ringing, and the person on the first (busy) line hears call

Allowing "pooling" or "rollover" for inbound calls on VoicePulse
My goal is to have only 1 primary phone number that can seamlessly "pool" multiple VoicePulse accounts. dovecot with Calendar or Contacts?
When I attempted to import my Contacts list into dovecot, my mail client told me that the IMAP server did not support "Special" folders. Is there a way to to do the contacts, or sync up Contacts & Calendar from a database or something else? I'm using both Thunderbird and Outlook. Hello, It's been noticed that mailing list monthly rollovers didn't happen because the machine was down when the cronjob to do the rollover would normally have fired. rollover simulation
I am trying to perform a "rollover" when the primary number is busy. This is coming from a POTS line. Apparently I need call waiting on the POTS line as I get immediate busy from the FXS if I don't have it. So my question is this. I have an Aastra 480I CT. filtering problem using sieve
For some reason, I cannot filter messages that have uppercase or possibly mixed casing in them. I have tried several tests by connecting to port 25 and sending messages. Possible log rollover mutex problem
It appears that part of the problem could be that when logger rolls over the mongrel log file. There is a mutex synchronization issue where the various mongrel instances all try to write to the new log file and block each other. This keeps them in a continual Application 500 Error state. I am having trouble with a DID on a PRI. If there is a call to that DID (let say 5551234) , the next calls get a busy signal. How to I go about sending the call to the next available channel ? Quick Newbie Question - Auto Call Routing
Hello all, Quick description of scenario: Would like to be able to plug in an analog line to a Digium Wildcard X100P FXO card in an * server. Whenever that line receives a call, we would like it to automatically ring a hunt group of VoIP soft phones that are connected to the * server. Is this possible, and if it is, what's the easiest way to go about it? My thanks in advance. Gordon
