I installed AsteriskNow on an old computer, but I couldn't find anything like that in the GUI. I found the CSV file in /var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv, but that's not much help unless there's some other

I have recently noticed that druid @ http://www.voiceroute.org has created an open source edition of their platform. I downloaded it today and installed it on a play system where I have about 20 ip phones ranging from cisco, polycom and aastra phones. I didn't even have to configure them as the system automatically did it for me. I have been using trixbox/freepbx combination for over that last

New York Asterisk Users
This is an email to all New York based Asterisk users. For some time it's been bugging me that we don't have a local contact point/user community. If you are involved in Asterisk and in NY/NJ shoot me an email, I'm going to try and revitalize either meetup.com or some other shared environment for Asterisk users in NY. Shoot me an email and once I get an idea of how many

GUI for hunt groups?
Hi, all. I've got an Asterisk box installed that I'd really like to leverage -- and installing a GUI for hunt groups would be awesome. So long as I can have a trial copy, I could even pay money. It would have to be able to make use of both SIP and ZAP extensions. Suggestions? (Note: I wouldn't much care about the GUI, myself, but my boss is all over one.) Thanks! -Ken -- This

[Flac-users] is there a way to read the length of a song from the command line?
I am working on an audio jukebox and would like to read the length of a song (minutes:seconds) from a perl script. Is there a way to do that? I don't see anything in the docs for flac or metaflac.
