hide callerid via presention bits of ISDN
Hi,
how can I setup asterisk to use the number presentation bits on the isdn
side to suppress the number presentation? We need to transmit the
subscriber number for billing purposes via ISDN whether or not the user
wants to hide his/her number. Is there any way to do this?

Missing CallingPres Application
I've just upgraded to the latest CVS head, and my outbound calls stopped
working. I traced it back to the line
exten => s,9,CallingPres(${ARG2})
It seems as if this application is now missing.
I tracked back the changes and found in 1.415 of chan_zap.c the code was
removed because it was "duplicated".
However, it does not exist anywhere ! Am I being stupid, missed

Echo cancel on HFC-S cards and CIDNum setting on outgoing calls
hi all!
I'm running an Asterisk-box with bristuff-....RC8n and 2 HFC-S cards.
I m located in Vienna/Austria. I have the problem that on outgoing
calls i hear my voice as a short echo (about half a second). This
occurs not on every call.
I tried some changes in my zapata.conf, with rxgain and txgain
settings, but to me its
hard to find a configuration which is good for every call i make. Is

How to use * and # as part of number indialcommand
Michel
Send me the same output for a dial string that only sends the *31*
Is this an ISDN line? What type of card/signalling/switchtype are you
using?
It looks as if the PSTN switch accepts the *31* and then hangs up so you
can make the NEXT call with the *31* feature enabled. If so I assume the
*31* feature will be enabled for the next call on the ENTIRE SPAN if it
is an ISDN trunk group.

Asterisk 11 / Missing Application SetCallerPres
Hi,
I am using:
Asterisk 11.2.0
libpri 1.4.12
Dahdi: 2.6.1
Sangoma E1-Card with Wanpipe-Drivers 3.5.28
I call my asterisk box via SIP and connect the call to an AGI-Script.
Within the script I do
EXEC SetCallerPres prohib
or
EXEC SetCallerPres prohib_not_screened
But I get the following error:
ast*CLI>
== Using SIP RTP CoS mark 5

How to hide CallerID - SetCallerPres(prohib) not working
Hi,
Using * 1.2.5 with a euro_isdn PRI I need to hide the callerID on
certain extensions.
I have usecallingpres=yes in zapata.conf, and am using
SetCallerPres(prohib) in my dialplan prior to the Dial command. No
matter what I set SetCallerPres to the CID is still displayed.
Is there something else I need to make this work? I can't just set the
CallerIDNUM to null, as it is needed for

CDR Records "s" as dst
I am using VoiceOne http://voiceone.it/ as my management interface.
I am not 100% sure when it started, but my CDR is now full of "s" as
the DST instead of the actual dialed number.
As I understand it - it is because it is being recorded in the CDR
while in a macro (as below).
Is there any work around so that I can record the actual dialed number?

Callerid Woes
I am trying to setup one time caller id block on my system(activated
when an incoming call matches *811XXXXXXXXXX), and I have had little to
no luck. Could you take a look at my context/macro definition and help
me figure out what I am missing?
Here is my context for my dialplan:

CallerId presence issue
Hi,
I've run into a minor snag trying to pass on CALLERID presence from one
Asterisk to another via SIP (both running 13.16.0)
I have a PRI coming in PBX_A and PBX_A is connected to PBX_B via SIP.
PBX_A gets PRI calls on a 4 port Digium card, and each call naturally has
its own callerid values and presence. I pass on those calls to PBX_B via
SI, and I'm trying to pass on this

SetCallerPres questions
Does SetCallerPres(Prohib) remove the ANI data from a SIP call or does
it simply set a flag telling other devices not to display the data?
In other words, could another system override that and see the caller ID
anyway? The answer may affect how I handle 911 calls, so I'm very curious.

CallerID on Indian PSTN is not working.
Hi,
I am using asterisknow 1.5.0 and Wildcard TDM410P card. Everything is
working fine except the caller ID of incoming call from PSTN line. The phone
display is showing "Unknown" when there is an incoming call. I think the
same problem listed here: https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=6683
There is one patch on this link but i don't know how to apply patch on
asterisknow.

Looking for PRI Outbound Caller ID Configuration
I'm having trouble setting the outbound caller ID on calls I make from my
PRI trunk group. The PRIs are served out of a 5ESS. Telco has set the PRIs
up for user provided caller id information, so I believe I just don't have
it set up right in my dialplan or something. I can't seem to find an
example of setting the outbound caller ID specifically for a 5ESS. Does
anyone have an

not succeeding to hide callerid with outbound calls
Hi All,
In my dialplan and standard asterisk CLI logging i see that i am able to restrict the callerid when dialing out with asterisk.
however, on the receiving phone, the callerid is still displayed.
When i increment the logging of the pri with "pri set debug on span 1" on the CLI i also get the lower level debugging info from the pri.

INVITE Privacy Information
Hello all,
I would like to use Asterisk to add/modify SIP headers in the INVITE
message, to include Privacy information, if the INVITE includes a *67
prefix (or another predefined prefix).
That's an example of the INVITE I get:
/INVITE sip:*6700112233445 at 192.168.1.100 SIP/2.0

Hi all,
does anybody know how to make on-demand anonymous calls? I've tried code

Any hints?
Thank you.

BRIstuff/QuadBRI problem: Ring requested on unconfigured channel 255/255 span 5
Hi all,
I'm running a stable Asterisk on a HP DL380G2 1.4Ghz 0,5GB RAM
equipped with 1x TE410P and 2xJunghanns QuadBRI running in NT-mode.
Connected to the BRI-Ports are 12 Fax-Modems (Elsa MicroLink ISDN/TL V.34)
which are only operating in dial out analog mode to deliver fax messages.
After a while of running fine (50-200 dial out connections)
on some S0 spans the following message occurs
