Question on peering two Asterisk servers
I have two servers each with one TDM card from Digium and three POTS lines going into each server (each POTS line is one individual number). and I want to have all incoming calls into server B be directed to the IVR on server A and to be able to fail over to Server B in case Server A has an issue (it can be a manual failover and I actually prefer it to be a manual process). I've

Digium AEX410, MTNL Mumbai Caller-ID problems
Hi, Continuing with the saga of Digium vs MTNL Mumbai, looking for suggestions on handling incoming Caller-ID issues. The card manages to grab a couple of (random) digits of the incoming CID, but they're more or less useless. Is there any way to fix this? Digium stopped TDM400P production: alternatives??
Hi, Digium stopped to produce TDM400P and the new TDM410 is too new to find it in our shops. The only alternative available is a "fully-compatible" Openvox product...but is it really "fully-compatible"? Any experience about Openvox products (card and zaptel versions, etc...)? Thank you! Giorgio.

lme: how to compare random effects in two subsets of data
Dear R-gurus, I have an interpretation problem regarding lme models. I am currently working on dog locomotion, particularly on some variation factors. I try to figure out which limb out of 2 generated more dispersed data. I record a value called Peak, around 20 times for each limb with a record. I repeat the records during a single day, and on several days. I tried to build two models, one

[LLVMdev] Optimizing math code
Hello LLVM-dev, I’m writing some crypto math code in C, and trying to make it as simple and portable as possible, so that there won’t be any unforeseen platform bugs. Ideally, I’d like the compiler to as much work as possible for me, and I’m wondering if you know how to make clang (or gcc, for that matter) do some of this. So I have a couple of questions. If this is the wrong list to ask for

RED on DAHDI channel
Asterisk 11.1 We have a situation where one of our incomings POTS lines will not answer. There are 2 lines configured by the Telco as a rollover group (rings the line that is not busy) and they feed into a Digium AEX410 on the server. The most recent time this happened, I did a /etc/init.d/dahdi status and saw this: ### Span 4: WCTDM/1 "Wildcard AEX410" *53 FXO FXSKS

Problem with Asterisk + TDM410 FXO
Hi I am in the middle of move a small business over from legacy PABX + PSTN lines to VOIP infrastructure. I borrowed a spa9000 to place between the PABX and the PSTN lines. I have had this going for a while (>5 months) and it has been working fine (some issues with echo and other minor things), which is why I am moving to asterisk. I bought a tdm410 with 3 fxo + fxs. The fxs is connected to

Query about tdm410 cards
Hi recently bought a soekris net5501 and a tdm410 to place in there. I am having some issues attaching 12V power to the card via the molex card - basically the box for the motherboard is too small. I have read up about a PWR2400b and it seems to use 2wire pin, I am guessing to connect to P8 just behind the molex connector on the tdm410. can any one here confirm this, or have any info on the

Newer version of Zaptel with 1.0 branch of *
Is it possible to run the CVS-HEAD/Stable version of Zaptel (1.2 whatever) with an older version of Asterisk? I'm running 1.09, but I was wondering if I could get at the newer echo cancellers like KB1 and MG2 without upgrading to Asterisk 1.2? I'm going out on a limb here to try and fix a serious echo problem on a TDM + BT PSTN line in the UK Thanks for your suggestions everyone --

Request for testing: New wctdm24xxp and wcte12xp drivers.
Hi All, This is a request for testing for users of Asterisk 1.4 or 1.6 with any of the following Digium VoiceBus based cards: TDM2400P, AEX2400, AEX800, TDM800P, TDM410, TE120P, TE121, and/or TE122. From a practical standpoint, this branch should allow these boards to work in more systems / configurations where IRQ misses caused problems in the past. The updated wctdm24xxp and wcte12xp
