I've been trying to look up information on upgrading firmware on a nortel i2004 ip phone. I have this phone leftover from a trial, and it's supposed to be upgradable to current firmwares. Since I also run a DMS I was able to login to nortel's site and get all the firmware files, but All the NTP's regarding firmware upgrading these are how to tell you BCM to send the file to it.

Hello, I am wondering if anyone is using the Nortel 2001 2002 or 2004 phones on their asterisk implementation. My local dealer says they are not compatible with any open source implementations. Is there a phone compatibility list somewhere? Cheers Cian

I will have a small shop with ~4 phones using an HP server with Asterisk on it, it has two NICS and so I planned on plugging one into the cable modem, and the other into the switch. I was going to let this box perform NAT for the company but I am concerned about QOS for the VOIP portion. Anyone got a similar setup and care to share what they successfully implemented? Anyone know how to get app_queue to send logs to MySQL or any other sql server. I found info for cdr's and even configs but nothing on queue_log. If sql is not supported in the current app_queue I will be willing to pay someone to add it. John Bittner Simlab.net

I am trying to integrate a Nortel Norstar system with an Asterisk service using a TDM04B card (4 fxo). So far everyting works from Asterisk to Nortel. The problem is when someone dials from the Nortel PBX to the Asterisk server. Asterisk answers the call and provides a dialtone (with DISA) but appartently the DTMF tones are not passed to asterisk and the call cannot proceed. This only
