British English voice files are ready for download
Hi folks, With thanks to Alison Keenan (another Alison!) for the voice, Chris Bagnal for converting from 44k wav to sln and finally Terje Elde for debugging my HTML code, the British English files are now ready for download. They can be got from http://www.enicomms.com/cutglassivr/ Thanks and don't forget to practice safe IAX ;-} Mark -- Mark Phillips

Call quality - how to debug
Hi All, I've a 1.4.15 A*k server supporting several users (approx 80 total, but <10 sim calls usually). I've one user who complains of intermittent bad calls, though I suspect the bad calls are across the board, but intermittent. Inbound calls are via in IAX trunk from Gradwell. CPU stats say that Asterisk never uses more than 4-5% cpu, systems idle besides that. Memory seems

Replacement for Allison
Hi, Does anyone know what I need to do to get these: http://www.enicomms.com/cutglassivr/ Sounds files to work? I've tried loading them, but they are completely silent (format mis-match maybe?). Specifically, when I try to enter voicemail, nothing plays... though it clearly tries. I'm looking for replacement sound files for the default Allison, as I feel she is kind of

[LLVMdev] VS build is broken again
If you look at an .sln file, there's a long sequence of digits associated with every project, something like this 8BC9CEB8-8B4A-11D0-8D11-00A0C91BC942. For the lack of a better word I called it "encoding". After I changed the dependencies between projects in the solution, msvs replaced those numeric sequences by new ones literally for every project in the solution file. The diff now

[LLVMdev] VS build is broken again
Hi Dmitri, I know what you are saying, but in the end I think we are lucky if diffs against project files have any meaningful information. Nobody right now assumes responsibility for regularly updating the VS files, so we routinely get patches from different people when they decide to upgrade the project files, and these patches change the .sln files in arbitrary ways. If you have

[LLVMdev] VS build is broken again
Ted, Thanks for taking care of this. I found that in order to build clang (in addition to the vcproj changes I posted earlier today) I had to add a dependency such that the clangDriver project depends on the CodeGen (basically the CodeGen checkbox has to be checked in the list of the clangDriver's dependencies). This in effect adds codegen.lib to the list of libraries linked into clang.exe

Agent Login "Play a file"
Good Day list, Anyone know if there is a way to have the AgentCallBackLogin function play a voice file after the agent picks up the phone? If this is not an available feature, any ideas on the difficulty in making this feature? Example: Extensions.conf exten?=>?700,1,AgentCallbackLogin(${CALLERIDNUM}|?AnnounceCAllQue-TechSu pport?); ....... exten => s,6,Queue(queue1)

[LLVMdev] patch for building llvm on Windows with MSVC 2008
These are the updated .sln and .vcproj files for building llvm with MSVC 2008. It turned out that the compiling errors were because these projects wasn't updated to reflect the actual status of the llvm files. I checked all the files (removed, moved or added) and now they are ok. It compiles all targets from the first "Build Solution", both for Debug and for Release mode. You need

[1.4 + FreeBSD 6.2] Playing WAV PCM file?
Hello Happy New Year! I succesfully installed the Ports of Zaptel BSD 1.4.0 and Asterisk 1.4.13 (that's the latest in the Ports). To save CPU, I'd like to play PCM WAV files instead of eg. GSM. Per... www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Convert+WAV+audio+files+for+use+in+Asterisk ... I recorded a sample of my voice using XP's Sound Recorder, then ran the following : sox

Poor gsm playback
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I've have installed a new Asterisk 1.4.15 system after having previously used a 1.2 CVS head (from 10 Sep 2005). Both systems are pentiums though the newer one is actually a slower processor. On the new system, playback of gsm files is noticeably poorer (voice quality is flakely) on any connected phone (sip or isdn, internal or external).

[LLVMdev] Is there someone tried LLVM 2.1 on Visual Studio 2005?
By the way, somebody (I think it was Chuck, but I don't remember for certain) was asking for the BuildLog.htm from building the llvm.sln file under VS 2005 SP1 for diagnostic purposes; right now the SLN is configured to produce a new BuildLog for each and every one of the projects inside the solution. I don't know who's responsible for this guy, but that's probably not the best way

[LLVMdev] win32/llvm.sln, win32/clang.sln
Hi Steve, The Visual Studio solution and project files are quite handy. CMake creates absolute paths instead of relative paths, making it cumbersome to move things around. Also, for newcomers (e.g. students) it's really great to be able to download the package, open the solution and compile without any complication. They haven't been updated in a while, but it would be nice to have

Problem Building opus-1.0.3 on Microsoft Visual Studio 2012
I am using mvs 2012 but the .sln provided is of msv 2010 so on opening .sln it tries to update libraries which is successful but I am unable to build (compile) it as it gives series of errors. I am pretty new to these things so can anyone tell me if I am doing anything wrong or how to create(.lib and .dll) files so I can use them in my project. Please forgive me if I have asked something foolish.

[LLVMdev] 2.7 Pre-release1 available for testing
Ah, thanks... curious, that set of instructions recommends running make in place (in the combined llvm directory), instead of in a separate directory as when building llvm without clang. Anyway, following those instructions (substituting unpacking the tar files for the svn checkout) gets me a .sln file (the resulting makefile doesn't work, but the .sln does), in which the build all command
