Odd bug in Siemens C460IP ?
Hello, I think I have encountered an odd bug in Siemens C460 IP/dect handsets, which is a bit annoying, and I'm not (yet) sure how to get round it without lots of hacks. iax limit question
I want to limit the number of simultaneous incoming calls that my IAX DID can accept to, say, 2. The IAX DID provider sets no limit. The code below does work, but when the limit is in effect, new callers hear a "call cannot be completed as dialed.." message instead of a busy signal. Maybe this is an issue with the provider, but I do not like this and want callers to hear a busy signal.

POE draw on Aastra 480i
Anyone know what the POE draw is for the Aastra 480i phones? We have switches that will do 15 watts on 12 ports but only do 7.7 watts on all 24 ports. A Cisco 3560 switch will do 15.6 watts on all 24 ports. Just trying to find out if we need that much power. Can't seem to find any info on the Aastra site. Comments?

Aastra 480 i
Getting "no service" display on aastra 480i. Sip debug shows an "unathorized" blub when the aastra tries to register. Some reading indicates that 1.4 firmware wants aastra.cfg and mac.cfg in /tftpboot/. There are none. Anyone have basic config files? Or can point me to a good link? All links I have tried, that purport to have config files, are either dead or error out.

Hi Folks, Looking for feedback on the cordless phones with the Aastra 480i CT handset. Is voice quality comparable to standard consumer residential 2.4GHz cordless phones in the US$30 - $50 price range, or better/worse? How about handset and speakerphone quality for the main phone? Firmware upgrade Aastra 480i CT
Does anyone have success in upgrading Aastra/Sayson 480i CT firmware? All I get, no matter what I've tried is "Unable to upgrade firmware". tftpd is working because the dialplan freshens, and I have aastra.cfg whatevermacaddressfile.cfg and firmware.st in /tftpboot Am I missing something stupid? DHCP Attribute for TFTP server for Aastra 480i?
I have this Aastra 480i phone, and you can set the TFTP server IP address manually in the phone, but there should be a way to have it find the TFTP server information via DHCP. Queue and SetGroup
I manage the PBX system for a medium sized call center. Where all calls are distributed via a few call Queues. However I am having an issue where reps are being distributed calls regardless of wether they are on a call. I have looked into using SetGroup but I don't think this works with Call Queues. I have also looked into incomingcalllimit and that seems to no longer work. Any sugestions?

Just found out my maintanence agreement with fonality does not cover phones over a year old. So, of course, they don't repaird phones, only replace them. Very worldly of them... Problem with Aastra 480ci and qualify=yes
Hi, We have a few Aastra 480ci phones and we've noticed that in order to get the phone to receive a call, qualify must be = no. Apparently the Aastras do not respond to the qualify message (or respond in a way Asterisk doesn't understand) and Asterisk thinks the phone is unreachable.
