Problems getting Asterisk to detect call in SUSE9.3, with FritzCard
I have installed an Asterisk 1.4 on Suse93 using a FritzCard.
Some calls are logged to the ISDN log, but Asterisk is not detecting
incoming calls.
I wonder whether some other device or process is preventing Asterisk
from gaining access to the isdn line?
Is there some way to ensure that only Asterisk can listening to the
line, or get it to share the line with some other device, such as the

[Copfilter] Copy of quarantined email - *** SPAM *** [6.5/6.0] Asterisk <-> Nortel Phone Switch
Still trying to make my Asterisk PBK talk to our Nortel Phone Switch (C15k).
Nortel did an upgrade which changed a bunch of things today, so I thought I'd
give it another shot. It looks like I'm much closer this time, but still no
go. Can't do calling in either direction. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
Shawn

Very bad quality with AVM Fritz!card PCI and chan_capi
Hi everyone,
I have Asterisk SVN-trunk-r7498 running for a few months and I'm quite
happy with it. However, I am experiencing a quality issue with my AVM
Fritz!card PCI which is used with chan_capi. When somebody calls me on
this line he hears a lot of noise and I hear "scratches" and "plops". It
is very annoying. Below is is my /etc/asterisk/capi.conf

MSNs don't work for me... :(
Hi,
My * server is running FreeBSD. The wonderful isdn4bsd with chan_capi
port by hselaski works great, everything is perfect in a perfect
world... but !
These [@$!#] MSNs don't work at all ! My extensions.conf is very
simple for my 5 MSNs (0353, 0416, 0618, 0619 and 0620) :

O.K. thanks a lot, Felix and Peer Oliver. But somehow asterisk keeps
telling me while startup:

chan_capi capiECT
Hi all,
does anyone have capiECT working? I can't get it to work - please see
my logfiles below.
While using an * CVS version of late September and chan_capi-0.2.5 (I
guess), it worked!!! (I know, never change a running system ...
should've backuped ... etc.)
Here's the setup:

Chan_capi: using both b-channels
Hi there,
I just recently installed asterisk from cvs on SuSE 8.2 successfully. I was
quite surprised since asterisk seems to be a quite complex and powerful
application. I also installed chan_capi 0.3.5 and am using a Fritz!PCI card at
an ISDN line (PtMP).
I already got some basic extension schemes to work, e. g. the capi callback
example from junghanns.net. One of my goals is to set up an

chan_capi problem
Hi to all
I've mada up my mind and i tried to change from i4l to chan_capi, following some councelling from the gurus.
I compiled it up, and when i try to load it in modules.conf, i get that wonderful message and Asterisk does not start:

Little OT: Compilation of EICON driver fails with capi errors
Hello,
I want to use a 4 port ISDN card from EICON/DIALOGIC in our asterisk server.
The system is a Ubuntu 7.10 with kernel 2.6.23.1. The compilation of the
kernel finishes without any problems. I have downloaded and installed
the deb-source package that EICON/DIALOGIC offers. Th installation
script crashes with the following error messages:

Error with EICON and CAPI
Hello,
I have installed an asterisk server with 7960 sip phones and an eicon card (diva 4bri server, I use only three channel) using capi channel.
Everything seems to work fine, but from time to time (two or twice a day) during a call I get a capi error in asterisk log and asterisk doesn't work anymore:

chan_capi-cm and DID
Hi all,
i have asterisk 1.0.9 with an Eicon Diva 4bri and

When using the one without did, i am able to place

i4l --> capi move - how?
I have * with i4l installed and working - on a dumb eicon card.
It seems in order to get DTMF out of the BRI (for business banking -
etc) - I should change from i4l drivers to capi drivers.
wiki help seems to be for the Fritz card only...???
I have ticked the suggested boxes in 'menuconfig', explored the
capi4linux websites - etc... but am missing some magic.

I'm having some errors while compiling the source code for an Eicon

I am using Fedora Core 6 with a compiled from source Linux kernel

(divas4linux_EICON-106.12-1.i386.rpm) and installed it already.
When I go to /usr/lib/eicon/divas/src/ and run ./Build, everything

Problems with chan-capi
Hi,
i have a debian-system with the asterisk 1:0.9-1 packages and chan-capi
0.3.1-2 installed.
My chan-capi seems to be out-of-order.
Capi and I4l work in general.
I can use isdnlog and capi4hylafax.
Using chan_modem_i4l with the sam context work fine too.
But no incoming calls are answered by asterisk over chan-capi.
If have 2 isdn-card: a passive avm a1 (i4l/hisax) and a active avm b1
