Problem with new AEX800 card dying because of interrupt problems
Hello
I purchased an AEX800 card to replace the ageing cheap channel bank/T1
card solution a few months ago, assuming that it would be a more robust
solution for my small scale phone system. However, it appears to be
anything but that.
Originally implemented as a XEN dom-u virtual machine on a large server
class machine, using PCI passthrough to pass the AEX800 and a small
older TDM400, then

TDM400 and TDM800 fxo stop answering
Hi, I have two asterisk with the Digium TDM400 installed on the first and
the TDM800 installed on the second. Both systems are linux Debian 4.0 whith
kernel 2.6.18 and asterisk 1.2.24.
Often the cards stop answering calls, and I can't make or receive calls; I
need to reboot the system or manually reload the zaptel modules to restore
it.
I've tried zaptel versions 1.2.18, 1.2.19 and 1.2.20

zttool says tdm800 is OK, but it won't recieve calls.
I have a TDM800 that is installed and working. (TDM800 + 2 X QUAD FXO).
Zttool says it is configured, ok, and there are no issues.
Ztcfg -vvv shows that all the channels are configured.
Zap show channels in the CLI show all 8 channels configured as they are
supposed to be.
When I plug in a pots line from the telco and make a call to that line,
asterisk does not respond. (No Starting

The following is my environment information:
1. Development environment : Linux PC
2. Cross compiler : scratchbox/compilers/arm-gcc3.4-uclibc0.9.28
3. Configure options : (almost of them are googled)

Multiple cards using same IRQ - getting IRQ errors and hissing
I am running Asterisk 1.16.2.13, dahdi 2.4.0 and libpri 1.4.11.4 on an
HP ML110 G6 using Ubuntu Linux 10.04 LTS.
I have two Digium TE121 single T1 port cards and a Digium AEX800
8-port FXS card. All PCI Express cards.
Co-workers are hearing hissing sounds on some calls, and I am getting
IRQ errors when running "dahdi show status".
I see that sharing IRQs for Digium cards isn't

Multiple TDM400p cards in one machine -- no longer an issue?
Hi all,
Years ago, I was pretty sure attempting to use two TDM400p cards in one
machine was recommended against by Digium ... probably because the cards
couldn't hack it, and/or interrupt problems etc
I have seen some posts recently that seem to indicate it is in fact possible
these days thanks to some updated firmware perhaps? ..... I just need to
have two in the server because the 4 ports

convert zaptel to dahdi?
I am trying to get a zaptel install converted to dahdi.
I can get dahdi installed, and the pseudo device even shows up; however, dahdi show channels shows me nothing. There is a TE122 and a TDM800 in there, and neither show up.
dahdi show status shows both cards, and dahdi tools show that the cards are there, working, and have no alarms.
What am I missing?

Yeastar Cards
I am in the process of buying a TDM800 card from Yeastar (
http://www.yeastar.com/products.asp?TypeName=TDM800%20PCI%20Card&cTypeName=1 )
Any one has tested this cards? How reliable are them? I am specially interested
in the FXO/FXS module.

Question on phone line "pass through"
Hi all,
I have a TDM2400 full of FXS cards and a TDM800 full of FXO cards.
If I have a fax machine on the FXS port dialing out through asterisk
on the TDM800 FXO, should I be expecting any problems?
Or should this just work as expected? (ie, flawlessly with the
asterisk box essentially transparent to the whole operation).
I am doing it this way to allow many faxes and modems to share a dial

Busy out a zap channel?
Is there a way to busy out a Zap channel? I have a customer who is
having problems with a line connected to a TDM800 card and we would like
to busy out that line. Since that line is the head of the hunt group I
cannot simply disable that channel, I need to busy the line so calls
will come over the other lines.

It's about time! -- Digium PCI-Express Cards
Just noticed this today:
Digium TE220B Dual Span T1/E1 PCI Express Card with Octasic DSP-based Echo
Cancellation Module<http://www.voipsupply.com/product_info.php?products_id=3352>
It's about time Digium got on the ball and made PCI-e cards. What are
people's experiences with this card? Anyone know if there are plans for a
PCI-e analog card for FXO use?

Deadlock in Asterisk 1.4.29.1
Hello,
I have previously open a topic on the mailing list about deadlocking on
Asterisk 1.2.35.
After upgrading to 1.4.29.1 we still experienced the same problem :

[LLVMdev] updating the "Getting Started" page with more info about the gcc4 frontend
Hello,
It looks like the "Getting Started" is missing some info about the gcc
4.0 frontend. Since it doesn't follow the setup of the cfrontend/gcc3.4
package, a couple sections describing the front end don't cover the gcc4
package. Here are the couple things I'd wish could be fleshed out a bit
more:
Under "Getting Started Quickly (A Summary)", it'd be nice

There should also be a large notice in 40 point font and bold that says,
"gcc4 does not produce byte code by default: you must use the -emit-llvm
flag to get LLVM byte code."
