Rolled Distro?
Hi folks,
I've been a trixbox user for a few years now but I'm thinking about
jumping ship.
Trixbox is great, but it's missing two features out of the box which
are really important to me: outbound faxing (hylafax) and imap
voicemail. I see no indication that they will be included anytime in
the near future, so I have a choice to make - I've looked around at

Recent debian packages?
Hi,
I'd like to use the convenience of apt packaging, but debian sarge's
default asterisk is something like 1.0.7.
Are there any apt repositories which provide newer versions of the software?
Thanks!

Dialplan - working out when users answer
Hey guys,
I've got a part of my dialplan that dials multiple people:
exten => direct,n,Dial(${QUEUEEXTS},${RINGTIME})
Multiple extensions are in the ${QUEUEEXTS} from an external script - e.g. SIP/100&SIP/101&SIP/105 etc
This works great, however I want to see if I can find a way to work out (and run an AGI script) when the call is picked up by someone.
Thanks all!

Configuring Sangoma BRI with zaptel?
Hello,
there has been a post to this list somewhere arount april which said
that it is possible to use a Sangoma BRI A500 card with zaptel and
asterisk bristuff. That is, without sangoma_brid and sangoma_mgd daemons
and without woomera channels.
Could anybody give me a short hint how to configure this?
I tried wanpipe-driver + zaptel + asterisk-bristuffed, but I couldn't

CVE-2015-1472 & CVE-2015-1473. Can you please help me in finding the right
version that has fixes for these?
Thanks

Asterisk 1.2 TDM24xx and B410P
We have an Ubuntu Dapper with 2.6.14 kernel, asterisk 1.2.14 debs from
http://pkg-voip.buildserver.net
When misdn stuff (misdn-init start) is not started, everything is fine,
our 8 FXO (Channel 1-8) 4 FXS (21-24) are working well.
If we start the misdn stuff (one card, port 1,2,3,4 in misdn-init.conf
and no TELCO cable plugged in the card), the dialtone disappear on TDM

Installing/configuring TE120P debian way
Hi all
I use asterisk (1.2 brach) from debian official packages and it works fine.
Now I need to install and configure a Digium TE120P card, but I cannot
find any guide to install it using debian packages.
I would like to know if anyone of you knows about packages that would
include the necessary kernel modules or any other method that won't be
broken when the asterisk packages are updated.

Anyone played with app_amd?
I'm guessing this may be a question for dev list, but wanted to try my
luck here first. I'm trying to compile app_amd (Answering Machine
Detection) against 1.2.7.1 and am getting some errors. I should point
out that I simply snarfed app_amd.c from

Anyone here using JUNGHANNS.net douBRI 2.0 ISDN ?
Hi,
I'm very new to asterisk and managed to set one up in debian, I
installed via apt-get the asterisk and asterisk-bristuff packages. I
downloaded the bristuff source as well.
I managed to get as far as loading the following modules:
zaptel 199144 4 cwain,zaphfc,zttranscode,ztdummy
But the problem now is that all channels that I try to configure gives
me an error that
