setup_exception stack overflow
Hello,
I'm relatively new to Wine and not much of a Windows guy. I have a in-house
application that I'm trying to run under wine. I can pass an option for the
number of threads I want to run. It's console based. I compiled Wine from the
latest source; RedHat 8.0; gcc 3.2.
I can run 50 threads cleanly. But if I increase to 100 or more, I consistently
get this error:

Hi All
I have successfully installed wine-20050310 and could run
Norton Commander with Wine with no problem at all. However,
after installing VGASYS.FON, SSERIFE.FON, and SERIFE.FON
exactly as described in Wine User Guide, I tried to run it
again with Wine. But I received the following error message:{{{

err:seh:setup_exception stack overflow in own application
Hi,
we have a own C++ code running usually on Linux and OS X. The code is
known to run on Windows compiled natively. It is a text-based academic
code (Finite-Element) using some Fortran Libs compiled with the
cross-compiler and Intels MKL.
Now I cross-compile the code using mingw 6.2.0 from openSUSE. We have
a testsuite for our code with 150 complete test runs (the whole
application runs

OneNote on a DualBoot system
I have a Toshiba laptop that came with Windows XP and OneNote
installed. I then installed Ubuntu Dapper Drake and am dual-booting
the system. I want to run OneNote on Ubuntu with WINE. Obviously I
could set up WINE to use the dual-booting native DLLs (but I don't know
how to do that), and I can't install OneNote directly on Ubuntu with
WINE because while I have a legal copy of the full

Can't run most apps after updating to Mandriva 2005 LE
Hi all,
I've just updated my system from Mandrake 10.1 to 10.2 (Mandriva 2005
LE) with kernel 2.6.11-12mdk and most apps that worked before don't
work now.
I've tried different versions of wine, both RPM and source code, the
one I used before (20050111), the one that is supplied with the
distribution and the latest RPM from SourceForge.
The following is a typical example of the

Question about wine 0.9.2 and VideoLan Media Client
Hi! I just installed wine 0.9.2 on my Linux system and tried installing
VLC 0.8.4 for Windows:
http://www.videolan.org/
The installer ran fine and VLC even started! I was able to open a WMV
file but when it started playing back, it crashed:

I need a program to work under Wine...
Hi to all,
I am a writer. For my job, I need to make an Italian dictionary (for
Windows) working under Linux with Wine. I installed Wine via apt-get install
on Ubuntu, and it works.
The Setup of the dictionary was completed with no errors, and so I have the
program in the directory:
C:\Program Files\UTETGDU\GDU\gdu.exe
(It actually is ~/.wine/disk_c/Program Files... in my home directory).
When I
