similar to: ASIO soundcard support

Hi! I'm want to compile wineasio and I need the Steinberg zipfile for it, but after I registered and activated my account, I simply can't login on the steinberg page! What now?? Can anyone make a copy of the package for me? Ciao!

I actually had an audio app running in wine "see" the wine-asio "driver". Now, how do I couple this goodie with a physical device, alsa port or jack client?? The app could "not start audio engine". No inputs or outpus were available to its dialogs choices.

Well, I am not the person to be asked about how Speex AEC works :) And I was referring speaker input as having direct access into what has been played thru speaker. (ASIO Soundcard provides interface for that) So if I am remebering correctly, with data from Mic and Speaker in sync, speex AEC should do the job. For sampling rate conversion, it's another matter (too long for this email) and you should read a bit about it a perhaps grab a library that does that.
