similar to: controlling an apps screen size and/or borders

Hi all, I am no familiar with the following command: wine explorer /desktop=default,800x600 app.exe This works and opens my app in an 800x600 window How do I control where on screen it opens??? I tried 800x600,0,0 but that did not work. I tried 800x600+0,0 but that did not work. How do I control where on screen the window opens? Jerry

I am trying to find a way to control what size screen my wine app things it has. How is this done? Example my screen is 1600x1200 but I only want the wine app to think the max screen size is 1024x768. How do I do this? Also, Can I then control where the smaller window opens? Hello. I have succeeded in getting Fallout Tactics and Age Of Empire II to start multiplayer games. To do so, I had to override dpnhpast for dplaysvr.exe. I wanted to play multiplayer games with a friend of mine, but on his machine wine doesn't even load dplaysvr.exe, so he cannot join multiplayer games. How can he enable dplaysvr.exe? I use primary a monitor and configured the x config file to use the tv as a second monitor which uses a different driver (graphic device section) due to different resolutions.
