Cant compile asterisk #error "You need newer libpri"
Trying to compile asterisk (again) from scratch. I seem to be still experiencing the effects fro Jan 25 where I get no sip to sip audio. I have tried upgrading to 1.2.3 which has made no change in the problem. I am starting over and now trying to compile/install /trunk zaptel libpri asterisk following the instructions to grab the source trees: # svn checkout

PRI got event: HDLC Abort (6) on Primary D-channel of span 1
I receive this error on the asterisk console and it is pretty much ALWAYS coming up. Sometimes there will be a break where it does not display. We had our PRI provider test the lines and they claim that there is no signalling problem. It doesn't matter if there are no calls or if there are 10 calls in progress the error is still displayed. I also get an annoying popping or clicking sound

BIG ISSUE with SIP, not sure where to go but it's killing asterisk.
I frequently get this error message, it repeats itself hundred/thousands of times and never stops. chan_sip.c:7467 sipsock_read: Failed to grab lock, trying again... During this period, I can make no SIP calls what-so-ever. The only way I've been able to stop it is to killall -9 asterisk. Doing a restart now doesn't respond. Anyone know why? -- Daniel Jimenez

Bristuff qozap drivers problem
Hi, For a significant time now (since about 0.2.0-rc8n) the qozap driver has become very verbose if an ISDN line is not connected... I get the messages below every couple of seconds in the asterisk logs. The "flaw" in the messages is the "Alarm cleared" message - The alarm cannot possibly be cleared because there is no physical media connected into that port!!! (BTW - All

Connect 2 Asterisk Servers via PRI
I am trying to test out my PRI configuration on a server by conection another asterisk server to it. I have the T-1 cards up and both set to bchan=1-23 and dchan=24 in zaptel.conf I am getting lost on the signalling in zapata.conf. using pri_cpe makes sense for my target box, but I am getting the following errors on my source box if I use pri_net or pri_cpe signalling. PRI problem
Hi guys, I've been trying to get my ISDN-10 line up for the past few days, but its been going up and down. I am using OpenVox D110P card on asterisk version 1.4.21. It seems to me like a cable problem. I tried using Ethernet straight cable (12, 45, 36, 78) and also a "straight" cable where the twisted pairs are on 12, 34, 56 and 78. The problem remains the same.

Connected to the BRI-Ports are 12 Fax-Modems (Elsa MicroLink ISDN/TL V.34) which are only operating in dial out analog mode to deliver fax messages. After a while of running fine (50-200 dial out connections) on some S0 spans the following message occurs

Asterisk Manager API - Originate command
Hi all, Just ran into some issue with the originate AMI command. It seems that there is a limit of around 120 calls I can place with the originate command simutanously. By that I mean sending Asterisk a lot of originate command very fast. Anyone know if there is a limitation? Thnx. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
