I swear by Belden. http://www.beldencdt.com/ Not to be confused with Belkin. I have used an entire roll for 1 run of 1000 feet!! Out of spec but it worked. No Packet Loss. And the Fluke Meter Certified it for GigE. loading zaptel drivers automatically upon reboot
Just installed Asterisk 1.2 on a brand new clean machine running RedHat 9.0. I have a TDM400 card inside. When I boot, the card seems dead. When I do: modprobe wctdm modprobe Zaptel the lights come on and all seems fine, until I reboot that is... After a reboot I have to repeat the modprobe. I shouldn't have to do a modprobe every re-boot should I? How do you get the drivers to load

Integration of Asterisk with MS Dynamics CRM
Have a request from a customer to integrate Asterisk into an MS CRM environment. From quick research it seems the way to do this is through a CTI interface and it requires 3rd party middleware. I have zero experience with MS CRM, so looking for some tips on if/how this is possible, specifically what MS CRM is capable of. I think it should be possible with a basic TAPI exchange and no need for

Microsoft CRM 4.0 integration with asterisk
Hello ! I am wondering if anyone has experiences with the integration of Asterisk 1.4.19 into Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 ? Or alternatively integration with Microsoft Office Communications server (however trying to avoid this, if it isn't really necessary for the integration). I would be glad to receive any links or manuals on this topic, which helped you to integrate it. Kind regards, Jan

Anyone, ideas for incoming call management for CRM system
Hi, we have implemented a first version of call support from a web based system for Asterisk (via the manager interface) and other, callto: and tel:, providers. Now I am looking at the other way around. If a call comes in, I want our web based system to automatically detect the number and present the call information to the user. Ideas anyone? I guess, I won't be able to get this done

CRM integration (was RE: CallerID)
FYI - We have a solution here provided by Lucent that allows us to play / review voicemails left on the Octel attached to the 5ESS switch... While this is a simple webpage - doing a refresh every 3 to 4 seconds, it does actually work. The only loss of course would be if someone hung up on first ring - the browser might not catch it in time. -----Original Message----- From:
