Hi peeps, I've been struggling with DUNDi for a few days now and I can't seem to make call from Asterisk A to Asterisk B. Here's the situation: Machine 1: Debian with Asterisk 1.4.4 --> 192.168.1.103 Machine 2: AsteriskNOW --> 192.168.1.69 The

idefisk 4 linux now available for download
It took a little longer then expected, but here it finally is, a field test for the idefisk for linux iax2 softphone. Freely downloadable from http://www.asteriskguru.com/tools/ You will probably need to copy the iaxclient lib into your library directory and run ldconfig before starting the phone. Please note that this is the first copy in the wild of the linux version and is not as tested

Queue problems
Hi, I've been configuring AsteriskNOW from the GUI but could it be that the GUI isn't working properly? because when I make a queue and add a few agents, and when I call the queue none of the phones ring. The queue is also configured at "Ringall" I checked the queues.conf file and the settings matched. I also noticed that the agents I made in the GUI, that they were not written

[LLVMdev] regarding multicore support for LLVM
Hi all, I am new to this LLVM. I went through the documenation of LLVM but I didn't find any support for Multicore. Is there any such possibility where multicore architecture can be exploited using LLVM. Thanks Vijay -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

say Asterisk to answer
Hi list, I have 2 softphones, 1 Idefisk (IAX), 1 Xlite (SIP) registered to Asterisk. One call the other-one, is it possible to order Asterisk to force answering the call ? i.e. Xlite call Idefisk, Idefisk is ringing, I send a command to Asterisk which force answer, so Idefisk answer the call without clicking on "Accept" button. SIP/IAX softphones for use in call centre environments
I've been working my way through the softphones listed on voip-info over the last few weeks and I've not really found anything to fit the bill. Has anyone had more luck? The environment is a small call centre of 5 users. Operators often need to be able to transfer calls to other operators with different specialties, so the softphone needs to be easy to use and quick to transfer calls.

Newbie: Crossing my fingers
I just ordered the Asterisk Developers Lite kit. My environment will be the RH9 Linux server and a Windows workstation with Samba. I also of course have analog lines and DSL. I am interested in SIP development. I already downloaded the Asterisk software. What else should I download. Is there a doc that basically tells you the steps to install Asterisk and get it up and running? I would like a

Vista compatibilty in SIP softphones
Greetings list, I've noticed over the last couple of weeks that, unsurprisingly, nearly every new PC seems to be coming with Vista these days. I expect it'll only be a matter of time for all of us before clients start needing Vista-compatible softphones (if it's not already happened). So, what's the story with Vista compatibility amongst the softphones currently out there?

agi playback to execute say.conf settings
Hi all, I am using asterisk-1.6.2.10. I changed say.conf script for customized number reading. In the extension.conf: -------------------------- [number-to-voice] exten => 8765,1,playback(num:344345,say) exten => 8765,n,hangup It executes corresponding say.conf script and produces good results for me. but when I write it in agi does not working. Here is agi debug output from asterisk.

OT - Avantages of ISDN PtP and PtmP
Hi, Reading http://www.asteriskguru.com/tutorials/bri.html , it seems PtP is the way to connect businesses but if you read http://public.swbell.net/ISDN/connect.html you would think the opposite. Can anyone elaborate a bit PtP or PtmP respective advantages ? Cheers -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

RFC: Comprehensive Static Instrumentation
Hey LLVM-dev, We propose to build the CSI framework to provide a comprehensive suite of compiler-inserted instrumentation hooks that dynamic-analysis tools can use to observe and investigate program runtime behavior. Traditionally, tools based on compiler instrumentation would each separately modify the compiler to insert their own instrumentation. In contrast, CSI inserts a standard
