OT: MWI on Treo 600/650
My cell vm goes to asterisk, not the carrier. Apparently MWI is turned on/off with specially formatted SMS messages. Anyone know how to do this on a Treo 600? Having the phone light from Asterisk would be HUGE ... not to mention extremely cool. dbc.

Cisco 7960 / SIP & tftp configs
I have three questions about my 7960 phone that I can't discern from the docs/wiki. 1st - If I change the SIPxxxxxx.cnf file to change registrations it sets up new lines as expected. If I delete a line it doesn't get removed when I reboot the phone. I have to go to the phone, unlock it, and reset the SIP parameters. How do I make it "forget" what it has programmed and

Re: Toronto
It looks like this meetup group is becoming the venue for contact as most "Toronto" respondents have signed up here. Can I request that the remainder who responded to the "Toronto" call signup? Shidan is the organizer and has proposed a date. I'd hate to confirm it without the remainder having input - especially those with travel times like Andrew K. out in Listowel.

Problem with Read() ?
All, I have a weird situation here and haven't been able to turn up any useful information in searches, so I thought I'd post to the list. Essentially, I have a customer who wants us to forward some of their calls to various cell phones. Normally, I'd use FollowMe() for this (that's how most of our customers are set up.) However, this particular customer has some requirements

SPA3000 as a replacement for X100P
I am still haveing problems (echo) with my X100P but I'm thinking it has more to do with the server it is in which is not a negotiable item at this time. My question then is to the use of SPA3000's as a replacement from the FXO standpoint. 1. Can you setup the FXO port to recognize distinctinve ring and call a different context like you can do with Zap channels? Being able to call a

Voicemail Out call
There was a post in the 'wiki' for an application to provide an outcall when there is a voicemail is left on asterisk. I am having a problem that this application will only work if the caller presses the pound sign at the end of recording. As most people just hang up, this application isn't working. Can any offer suggestions to accomplish this out call?

OutCall for Outlook only shows Name from CLID and not Number - hence not pulling contact
Hi Everyone, I am using OutCall 1.6 (latest) with Asterisk 1.6 and Windows Vista. I can originate calls see the program login nicely but when a call comes in it only shows the Name portion of the CLID and not the number hence it pulls up a new contact on Outlook. can ENUMLOOKUP query multiple DNS servers without having to replicate the same code for each server?
Hi all, Does ENUMLOOKUP can query multiple DNS servers without having to replicate the same code in which the only thing replaced is the server? If I use ENUMLOOKUP(${exten}), Asterisk will parse enum.conf file to find the list of DNS servers in order of preference to be queried, but, I pretend to use something like this: ${ENUMLOOKUP(+${ARG1:2:},sip,c) which does not seam to care about

Forcing Dial application to skip if called server is unreachable
Is it possible to force the Dial function to skip to the next priority if it doesn't find the server of the called contact within a few seconds? I know I can use: Dial(Technology/resource[&Tech2/resource2...][|timeout][|options][|URL]) where I can use some short timeout in the "timeout" option, but if I do so, when some call is well succeeded, it will only ring for that
