Need help with hint and call group
We have 4 employees and we're running Cisco 7970 phones. Each phone has a unique SCCP line configured (in the autologin area of the sccp.conf file) for each employee. We have hints set up in the extension.conf file like the following: exten => 101,hint,SCCP/101 exten => 102,hint,SCCP/102 exten => 103,hint,SCCP/103 exten => 104,hint,SCCP/104 We have speeddial= lines set

Re: [Chan-sccp-users] Need help with hint and callgroup
I don't think that will fix my problem. The hints on the individual user extensions (101, 102, 103 and 104 below) are working just fine. sccp.conf example of 1 user: [devices] type = 7970 description = User1 tzoffset = -6 autologin = 101,401 speeddial = 102,User2,102@wct-internal speeddial = 103,User3,103@wct-internal speeddial = 104,User4,104@wct-internal device => SEP000F90CEF9D3

SCCP problem with ATA188, Asterisk@home and chan_sccp
Hi, This is a message I already posted on the chan_sccp mailing list, but since this list has a lot of active members, I'm hoping someone might be able to help (And my problem is * related, so I guess it's ok if I post it here also ;) ). I'm trying to get SCCP ATA188s to run with Asterisk. The Asterisk box uses the latest Asterisk@Home image (Version 2.6). I have compiled and

7960 + 7914 Problems
I'm still having problems getting this to work. I cannot get anything to display on my 7914 other than blank lines. I have SIP/5920-5930 in [main] that I'd like to add to the 7914 and indicate hook status. The 7960 is registering okay as SCCP/5000. What exactly should my sccp.conf file look like? When I make changes to this, how do I enact them? Do I reload Asterisk and reboot the phone

SCCP questions
Hi! I have two, not too related questions: - the probably simpler one: if anyone can help me out using a Cisco 7905G with chan_sccp? I did already managed to get it working with a SIP image, I'd just like to see it work with this one as well. It's probably something I screw up with the configuration, as the phone registers, only I don't get any lines with it, although I have it

cisco 7970 sccp
Does anyone have the 7970 work with sccp? I have used the example configurations from the wiki. I can see that the phone is failing to retrieve the CTLSEP<MAC>.tlv file and then is able to retrieve the SEP<MAC>.cnf.xml file. The phone is hanging with the message "updating ctl". Thanks, John SEP<MAC>.cnf.xml: <device> <devicePool>

Cisco 7960 won't dial (sccp)
I'm trying to setup a couple of Cisco 7960's in asterisk. I have asterisk working fine for sip clients, and can call the 7960's just fine, but I can't seem to dial out on them. As soon as I enter the first digit, the phone attempts to dial it without waiting for the rest. I've changed timeout settings, etc but can't seem to get it to work. Any ideas? Asterisk

Help w/ Asterisk Cisco IP phone and SCCP
I have a new asterisk installation (1.4.2) that is working fine with SIP. Now I'm trying to add 2 cisco ip phones (7960) running SCCP (latest chan_sccp). I have the phones booted, and the tftp directory all setup, etc. But the phones do not quite work right. When I lift the handset I only get a dial-tone 1 out of 5 or so times I try, though hitting the speaker button works. I can dial

Enabling auto-login
How do you enable auto-login? I went into /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf, uncommented autologin-user (and set it to = my login name), and uncommented autologin-user-timeout (and set it to = 0). Is there something else I missed? -- Jason Hsu <jhsu802701 at jasonhsu.com>

autologin-user-timeout
Hello, in the assumption that I understand them correctly I specified in /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf autologin-user=xxxx autologin-user-timeout=10 so that after 10 seconds the user xxxx is logged-in automatically. What happens is that the user xxxx is logged-in immediately i.e. without any delay. Do I understand the second variable wrong or am I missing something? Thanks for any help. K.D.J.

Problems with # and extensions.
I get the following message when I dial 74#. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be going on? If I don't require numbers to be terminated with # everything works as expected, but you have to wait for the digit timeout, of course. MESSEGE: DEBUG[1150520624]: File pbx.c, Line 1683 (ast_pbx_run): Oooh, got something to jump out with ('#')! -- Invalid extension '#' in

Setup speed dials on Cisco 7921
I've added lines like this: speeddial = 123,test speeddial = 260,Bob in the [device] section for my 7921, but the speed dials do NOT appear on the menu (click right from the main screen). Am I missing something obvious here? Thanks MD -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Cisco 7961 + 7914, speeddials, BLF & Asterisk 1.4?
Hi, Does anyone have any experience with a Cisco 7961 + 7914 Operator Console setup and speeddials/BLF on Asterisk 1.4? Would appreciate feedback if this works reliably. I have a 7961 on skinny registering on an 1.4.19 box with chan_sccp and speeddials work fine so that part seems ok. I have no experience with the BLF part. >From googling around it seems that BLF on the 7914 only works with
