say Asterisk to answer
Hi list,
I have 2 softphones, 1 Idefisk (IAX), 1 Xlite (SIP) registered to Asterisk.
One call the other-one, is it possible to order Asterisk to force answering
the call ? i.e. Xlite call Idefisk, Idefisk is ringing, I send a command to
Asterisk which force answer, so Idefisk answer the call without clicking on
"Accept" button.

Hi,
I'm attempting to hook up the E400P card to a Siemens ISDN module.
I have no knowledge of these Siemens products, so I'm acting on what I've been
told about it.
The Siemens side is configured to "ISDN30: ECMA QSIG". The Siemens manual
states the card provides 30 ISDN B-channels which can be used for trunking or

QSIG support in Asterisk
I am looking to get the info about QSIG support in Asterisk.
Does Asterisk have QSIG support?
Does Asterisk support QSIG SIP Tunneling or QSIG SIP Interworking?
If so, How to configure that?
Thanks

Allowed code pages and encodings to write f0.txt through f1.txt?
Hi there.
Slackware's installer, that I am internationalizing, makes use of ISOLINUX.
I want to give instructions to users in other languages than US English, e.g. which code to type
to see installation messages in their native language.
So my question are:
(1) Which character encodings can be used in message.txt and f1.txt through f1O.txt?
(2) Is UTF-8 allowed?
(3) I'm guessing that

[LLVMdev] Reviving the new LLVM concurrency model
C++ and Java memory models impose restrictions for locks and unlocks,
such as a thread that releases a lock must acquired the lock, or the
number of locks must be larger than the number of unlocks in the same
thread... for enabling some optimizations, for example, simplifying
trylocks (http://www.hpl.hp.com/techreports/2008/HPL-2008-56.html),
and moving some instructions inside lock acquires

PRI and QSIG
Hi all,
I'm planning on connecting our Asterisk to our legacy PBX (an Avaya INDeX).
I was originally going to sit it between our ISDN connection and the INDeX
(tried it, worked ok) but now I intend to hang it off a spare PRI card just
so should the * fail we keep our ISDN's at the INDeX, yes I've looked at
ISDNguard but little info from the manufacturers.
Anyhow, I'm now

RFC: alloca -- specify address space for allocation
Currently, the alloca instruction always allocates in the generic address space (0).
This proposal is to extend the semantics of alloca instruction to allow allocation in any specified address space.
Proposed Syntax
<result> = alloca [inalloca] <type> [, <ty> <NumElements>] [, align <alignment>] [, addrspace <num>] ; yields type addrspace(num)*:result

Scripting SVG with R
Since now many browsers support (ECMA/Java-)scripted SVG, I am wondering
whether there are already any examples of inserting R code into SVG
documents (or a Javascript canvas?) either directly, or perhaps more
likely through a JavaScript layer, to dynamically generate graphics or
make them interactive?
I am aware of the excellent packages gridSVG and SVGAnnotation, which

Jruby + Rhino = Javascript support?
Hey Aaron, I''m just thinking out loud here, but have you considered
the possibility of using the Rhino [1] library to implement
javascript support in mechanize? It''d create a jruby dependency for
that feature, but still. Just thought I''d bring it up while I was
thinking about it.

The AnghaBench collection of compilable programs
Dear LLVMers,
we, at UFMG, have been building a large collection of compilable
benchmarks. Today, we have one million C files, mined from open-source
repositories, that compile into LLVM bytecodes (and from there to
object files). To ensure compilation, we perform type inference on the
C programs. Type inference lets us replace missing dependencies.
The benchmarks are available at:

Diva Server V-BRI-2 and internal numbers
Hi,
I have an asterisk with a DIVA Server V-BRI-2 card, connected to a Siemens
PABX. From a SIP phone, I can call other internal SIP phones, external
numbers (to PSTN), but I can't call internal phones connected to the
internal phone network.
When I call 107, which is an internal phone, heres the logs from asterisk:
