Hi, I would like to set up a high density FAX/PBX server, am looking at using Eicon Diva E1 card with Asterisk and Hylafax sharing channels, is this possible. I know Extensions can be reserved for voice OR fax with the combination of chan_capi used for * voice, capi4hylafax on fax but then channels must be dedicated rather than shared ie. would like to be able to answer voice/fax on same DID.

Hi, I thought I'd check in with people here. Lets say I wanted to put together a Hylafax server, and an Asterisk server on the same box. And, for the sake of making things simple, I wanted to use a single T1 board for both.... Is this possible? Hello, Can I use the Diva Server PRI/E1-30 card with asterisk (with chan_capi or i4linux) ? If asterisk detect a fax, how divert the call to the onboard DSP ? How can I handle the fax with hylafax (capi or pseudo serial device ?) Thank you, -- Carl

Just need to use it to handle voice on 2 BRI circuits (UK) then utilise with Asterisk and some Digium cards handling POTS phones (and some VoIP out the back). Having ISDN FXOs and a bunch of ISDN DECT base stations, I went looking for a CAPI compatible active BRI adapter capable of NT mode. I have found that the 'Eicon Diva Server 4BRI' fulfills theses requirements. However, at EUR 1387 for four BRI interfaces, it does not come cheap. Are there other users of similar hardware that can point me to alternatives ?

Hi all, i have asterisk 1.0.9 with an Eicon Diva 4bri and chan_capi-cm-0.6. I have 2 NTBAs (one with did and one without). When using the one without did, i am able to place outgoing and incoming calls. When i use the NTBAs with did i have a layer 2 error.
