Hello, I'm having a strange problem with counter strike source and wine. I run at about 40fps for the first five minutes.. then with every new round, my fps decreases by about 20%... so by round 5 I'm down to 9 fps. I've tested this with both wine and cedega and get the same results. I'm running Fedora Core 8 on a core 2 duo processor w/ 2gigs of ram and 256MB video card.

The game runs really well, high fps etc...But when I either enter combat, or sheath/unsheath my weapon, the game locks up for a few seconds ;( Anyone ever have this problem, or have any clue as to where it's coming from? Hi. I am using latest wine but i got prob here... when i run game in virtual desktop, it will apear in nice window with borders...etc which i want to disable of course. Using Gnome with Metacity window manager. On KDE i can disable borders fine, but here only close button is enable others like minimize example are disabled. And i can't full screen it with shortcut. I have installed Diablo 1 lately and found Wine can't load the game succesfully. I see a few frames of Blizzard's intro, then it freezes. With Cedega 4.0 it works pretty well> I played for a couple hours then found later I can't load my games back. Ain't that funny? It seems to be a menu problem. Another thing I noticed with Cedega is, multiplayer hangs really quick.

Is there any chance that wine will run flatout2 in multiplayer mode? If I start multiplayer, it simply hangs..... But I'm told that flatout2 multiplayer runs fine in cedega ? Anyone knows a solution for wine? ( Singleplayer flatout 2 runs perfect in wine.)
