[LLVMdev] Couple newbie questions :|
Thanks for the response :D
I have used Python and Lua before. I'd love to use the syntax of lua with
the object oriented ness of python, and I thought LLVM would be a way to do
that.
Again your help is appreciated.

Installed Kernal (default)
Is there a description or statement that describes the stock kernal in
CentOS, and would give all the various modules it is compiled with? As
with BSD, I assume there are things in the kernal that are mandatory,
and then there are things that are optional or included so as to catch
most everything one could have w/r/t hardware. That being the case, as
with FreeBSD, removing those unneded

Mandrake 10, Request for comments.
My * is presently running fine on Mandrake 9.2, but Ive been entertaining
moving to Mandrake 10.0 to enjoy the obvious improvement in kernal speed Im
seeing on other 10.0 boxes Ive recently built for other applications. (10.0
is the first implementation of the 2.6 kernal)
Any comments from anyone who's running on 10.0?
IS anyone running * on Mandrake 10.0?
If so, any issues stand out?

Density Estimation
Dear R-list,
I have made a simple kernel density estimation by
x <- c(2,1,3,2,3,0,4,5,10,11,12,11,10)
kde <- density(x,n=100)
Now I would like to know the estimated probability that a
new observation falls into the interval 0<x<3.
How can I integrate over the corresponding interval?
In several R-packages for kernel density estimation I did
not found a corresponding function. I

Problems with Samba as PDC
I've got an ugly problem... hope somebody can help:
I upgraded from Samba 2.2.5a to 2.2.7a yesterday (SuSE RPM update).
Since then, all connected Windows computers show strange behaviour:
Depending on the computer, only a few selected users can log in - but
the users able to log in change from computer to computer. None of
them have any local accounts on the machines in question, just the

centos 5.1 kickstart CD and intel 82576 driver
Hi all,
I've got a Centos 5.1 kickstart that I must continue to use.
How can I update the kick start image so that it recognizes Intel
gigabit 82576 nic?
BTW, I compiled the driver I need and have this igb.ko file.
How do I incorporate that into my initrd.img file that I see on the
kickstart CD that is probably my kickstart boot OS.
Thank you very much in advance.

How to contact a lead Wine developer?
Hi all,
I was looking here: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8051 , and in comment 81 it was recommended to contact the lead Wine developer(s) about the bug in question. I'm not sure who to contact, though. Might someone be able to tell me who would be an appropriate person/people to contact, please?
Thanks!
Hibba.

Profiling WINE (Game)
Hello,
I have a game which runs almost perfectly (Europa Universalis III), there's just one problem: when you click a province to open the dialog, there is a noticeable delay. Since it's a specific problem to diagnose, I'm hoping it'll be as simple as running a profiler to see which WINE function(s) the game calls to complete this task, and hopefully fix the problem function.
