Wine wants OpenGL for everything... then fails
Wine is hosed on my Ubuntu Edgy install. It was working fine on Dapper, and I'm not sure if I tested Wine since upgrading to Edgy last month. Counter-Strike 1.6 extremely slow
Counter-Strike 1.6 is extremely slow for me, say, one frame per ten seconds. Wine just died of some "GLX" error
Everything was perfect. But suddenly wine just died days ago. I do not remember I made any big modification to my UBUNTU 6.10. Program works local but not remote / How to interpret errors?
Hello, Beein new to wine, I have problems to interpret errors and to find the way fixing them. We have a customs handling software based on a framework called 'nova'. While it works locally on our OpenSuSE 10.2, i cannot access it via X11 with LTSP Clients. How can a locate the source of the problem and how can I fix it? Running DNS 9.5 Standard
Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9.0 Preferred installs and runs. However, DNS 9.5 installs well but does not. The output is as follows. Starcraft II 1.1.2: Cannot load libGL
Hey everybody, I tried Googling specific problems with this but could not find any. I was working under wine1.3.4 when Starcraft II was in 1.1.1, but after successfully installing the patch 1.1.2 (for Starcraft II that is), I am unable to start the game, and it officially complains about DirectX not being installed. Wine not detecting correctly graphic vendor
Recently i changed my old 6600GT with a less old HD4850, uninstalled the nvidia drivers and install the propietary catalyst last version. All run perfectly, glxinfo shows direct rendering yes and the corresponding bunch of extensions and glxgears rate clear high. Trying to run Spelunky: OpenGL, Mac OS X and Wine

No video acceleration under wine?

MacOSX and OpengGL
Hi. Since there is a lot of misleading info on the net I wanted to ask if there is any way to make OpenGL work with wine on MacOSX? I know it is not wine's fault but maybe there is some workaround that I am not aware of? BTW does anyone when (if at all) Apple is going to fix this OpenGL bug and is there any place where I can find the status of work on it? Regards Michal.

Wine unable to find DX9 / driver version?
I updated wine to latest git (wine-1.1.26-390-g31dab8f) and upgraded my nvidia drivers to 190.18. When I attempted to test some of the DX9 and 10 games I usually test, none of them seem to be able to recognize either my DX version or the drivers. I suspect that the drivers are the issue. Help with half-life 2
