How do I add to the windows PATH in wine. Have done some googeling but all I can get is stuff about setting Linux path. I have a Dell Latitude D600 with Windows XPsp2 on the first partition and Ubuntu Feisty (Linux kernel 2.6.20) with Wine 0.9.30 on the second partition, set up to dual-boot. The XP share is NTFS and mounted read-only for Linux. What I want to do is run my Windows apps from the XP partition under Wine, because I really hate using Windows. When playing WoW through Wine (1.3.6) my video settings are limited because some of them require "2G or more CPU memory". Another computer in the house can play in Windows with those settings maxed out on a graphics card that only has 1G built in, so the setting doesn't mean graphics memory. Hi. I have got the following problem: I'd like to use the windows version of firefox in linux. When I download a file and tell firefox which application to use with it, the application opens fine. But the path of the file given to it by firefox is in windows style (C:\...). Is there a (easy) way to tell wine to covert the path to linux style? If yes, where can I read more about it?

I am currently using wine 9.22 and am getting ready to switch to the latest version. If I understand things right I need to remove my current wine before installing the new one, but I do not know how to do that.
