SV: SV: QSIG, Asterisk and Eicon DIVA
I have read most of Eicons information on Q.SIG, and I am able to load the Q.SIG protocol (instead of ETSI for example). No strange logging in divacrtl mlog.
But how do I tell Asterisk to understand Q.SIG?
My PBX is configured for QSIG, but I cannot see anything on my trace when trying to make a call via the S0(Q.SIG)

SV: QSIG, Asterisk and Eicon DIVA
That was my impression as well, I tried adding switchtype=qsig in zapata.conf, but all I see is the capi information... No connection...

Red Hat release info
Hi all,
I''m looking at changing the operatingsystemrelease fact for Red Hat.
Linux currently just uses the kernel release as the operating system
release, but I''ve got a client who wants the release to have both the
specific distro (e.g., AS or EL) and the release (e.g., 3 or 4).
Will this particularly annoy anyone? Anyone want to help make the
release string work on

Many Unix accounts to one samba account
Hi Folks.
I have set up a samba server on a machine running Linux 6.1 and it works
perfectly. But i have a problem :
Approx. 200 teachers are going to register the students absence,
and I don't want them to have one password each. ( You know teachers and passwords ).. :-)
I thought I could change the Samba password once per month and deliver it to the teachers by e-mail.
But I dont want

Time conversion from Win32 64bit FILETIME?
Windows-32 has a time structure called FILETIME, a 64-bit value
representing the number of 100-nanosecond intervals since January 1,
1601 (UTC). That is not a typo, the year is 1601.
Does anyone have a clue(or algorhithm)for how this is converted to
something a little more POSIX-like ?
Thank you,
Derek

I guess so do I ;-)
Using the new approach I posted to samba-list earlier today, it is not
really all that tricky any more. Watch for my reports on the list, you
may be able to implement what I've done

Samba follow sym links
Hi
I have some problems with samba 3.5.6 on debian lenny.
I have symbolic links in some shared directories, and samba should
follow these links.
Without any special config entries, my smb client just list sym links to
folders as unknown files:
? l????????? ? ? ? ? ? myfolder
With the following configuration:
follow symlinks = yes
wide links = yes

lattice: double y - problem changing axis color after doubleYScale
Hi,
I have had some troubles using doubleYScale. No matter what I try, I cant manage to change the color of the y-axis in the end. I have to produce a black and white plot. There is also something I do not understand regarding fontfamilyj="serif" when using it in:
strip=strip.custom()
Maybe someone has a better idea for defining which line and dots belong to which y-axis when not using

Running R away from windows (to Linux)
I want to migrate my R workspace databases (e.g., .Rdata) from Windows to Linux. The R help file for "save" says that "[a]ll R platforms use the XDR representation of binary objects in binary save-d files, and these are portable across all R platforms."
Is it is simple as that? Copy the Windows .Rdata file to the Linux .ext3 file system?
Thanks,
Derek
