I was thinking to implement a software data modem in asterisk, but I found out that there is just faxmodem for asterisk, Is anyone here know something about software data modem working with asterisk to help out? Guys. Ive been testing how to receive faxes using TDM400P cards and so far, after playing with gains, echocancell and echotraining on zapata.conf.. Ive ha dno luck, faxes come in as garbage or broken or with blank lines. Anybody has successfully done this? Any tips.. Also I have some ideas: 1. Following the successful deployment of asterisk servers at several of our branch offices, in the near future, I'll likely be implmenting an asterisk server at our HQ. We currently have a T1 PRI terminated on a legacy PBX. Hi, I have two asterisk with the Digium TDM400 installed on the first and the TDM800 installed on the second. Both systems are linux Debian 4.0 whith kernel 2.6.18 and asterisk 1.2.24. Often the cards stop answering calls, and I can't make or receive calls; I need to reboot the system or manually reload the zaptel modules to restore it. Hi I have had a Centos 5 installed with asterisk and zaptel for a couple of weeks, I had to reboot eh machine today, and when it rebooted it got stuck at "Starting udev" if I remove thew tdm400 it boots OK, but no zaptel has anyone seen this , and can offer any advice? Thanks Robb
