First of all, I'm not knocking Sipura/Linksys. I have heard very good things about their products. I'm just wondering if they are the only quality shop on the market. I know about the zoom 5801 where you can't dial out the FXO from SIP, only from the FXS port. And I have heard similar about the HT-488 also. I want to know if anyone else makes ATAs where all of the features work

My apologies for the off-topic post ... No matter what settings I try, when I dial in to the SPA-3000 on the PSTN line, it picks up the call and immediately gives me a fast busy tone then hangs up. This is a wierd one. Can't figure it out. I have an SPA-3000 at the house handling my incoming line. It's setup to direct the incoming call to asterisk. Works great 99% of the time. A few times a day, I'm getting calls that ring once internally and are then hungup. I managed to get a detailed log [1] of what's happening today and it looks to me that the SPA is acting wierd.

When I dial a PSTN (via * with Digium Quad-E1) number, I hear two sumultaneous ring tones. One is coming from *, the other I assume is from the ATA. Is there an intelligent way to get around this?

If I have multiple Sipura 3000 device how can I dial out properly? I can receive call without any problem and that's working really well. Caller ID is shown and when someone call he get's the welcome message the same way I have it configure with the X100P card. I'm experiencing a very unusual problem with a few of my sipuras. They keep over heating after minimal usage. I unplug them and let them sit for 15 minutes and it starts working fine.
