Asterisk, mISDN and a Fritz card -- kernel crashes
Who mentioned fax? :-) Native CAPI isn't an option for us (unfortunately), as our service is a point-to-point service, which the AVM CAPI drivers don't support. We've now got another problem -- we're now able to make calls -- once. The kernel panics as soon as someone terminates a call (and, so it would seem, at various other times too). This has only been occuring since mISDN

Small CDR Billing Program
Hi Guys I am just looking around for a small billing program but can't really find what I am looking for. It needs to bill straight off the CDR. It should grab all the CDR records from the asteriskcdrdb mysql database then have a rates table to that it calculate a bill from. Is there any open source packages or commercial packages that will account for billing say only 5 extensions?

Asterisk, mISDN and a Fritz card
Hi, I've been having problems getting Asterisk to work with a fritz card (in ptp mode). We've managed to get everything configured, however, as soon as the call is connected we get "Unhandled message: prim 281 len -22 from addr 1000000, dinfo 0 on this port" I checked, and mISDN_dsp is loaded. Any help would be much appreciated! Regards, Chris Jones // Network Administrator

Fritz, mISDN, Help
A plea to all! Has anyone had any success with two or more avm fritz pci cards with either misdn, chan_misdn, or chan_capi, and any version of linux 2.6.x? I have managed to get misdn to load under 2.6.13 and detect two cards using misdn-capi and chan-capi (using capiinfo and capi info under asterisk) - but the second card/controller doesn't answer or dial calls. But if I try misdn

AVM Fritz! mISDN with Kernel 2.6.32 - Any experiences?
Hi to all asterisk-users ;) As some of you may know, Kernel 2.6.32 includes a module for the infamous Fritz passive ISDN cards in conjunction with mISDN. I just would like to know if anybody has tried to use a Fritz card as a BRI adapter for Asterisk with the new module. If so, i would be grateful for some hints or howtos. I am willing to try this myself, but i am quite reluctant as i have

AVM Fritz! + chan_capi + mISDN + PTP
Hello everyone, I have been using an AVM Fritz! card with chan_capi and mISDN for quite a while in PTM mode and it was working finely. Now, I needed more DID/MSN, so I switched to PTP. But now nothing works anymore :( I am using Asterisk on Debian Sarge stable and installed Asterisk along with chan_capi from apt-get. I installed mISDN from the CVS of isdn4linux.de. It is : - Asterisk

Trying to understand mISDN kernel buffer messages...
Hello List, I have got some questions about mISDN kernel buffer messages which I posted to the mISDN users list a while ago. Unfortunatelly I received no feedback at all, so I though I'd share them in this (wider) context to see if anyone can give any input... Thanks in advance for any feedback and kind regards, -- Ex Vito ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Ex

Digium B410P: misdn v1 or misdn v2 or dahdi + asterisk 1.6 ?
Hi, Until now I've been using my Digium B410P cards with misdn 1.0.x. I would like to upgrade my systems and am now wondering which is the "best" route to take: - use the latest release of misdn v1 - upgrade to the latest "stable" kernel and use the built-in misdn v2 - use misdn v2 as a seperate package (disable misdn in the kernel) - use dahdi's support for misdn

mISDN ports and dstchannel CDR logging
Hi All I have noticed that when calling over mISDN channels the call itself is made over the channels listed in misdn.conf eg: 1,2,3,4 as misdn/1, misdn/2, misdn/3, misdn/4 etc. However, when looking through the CDR's the call gets logged as misdn/0, misdn/1, misdn/2, misdn/3, misdn/4, misdn/5 etc. I also noted that busy, failed, congested calls link mainly to misdn/0. The only logic I

Installing the b410p card, unable to install mISDN
Hi, I'm installing Asterisk on Ubuntu 6.10 When I first compiled the zaptel package I used: make clean make make install So far so good, but the following command failed: make b410p I did some digging on google and found a guide on how to install it manually, but the result was the same. I got these files ftp.digium.com/pub/telephony/zaptel/b410p/misdn-b410p.tar.gz

misdn config warnings in Asterisk 1.4.18.1
I would like to know if the following misdn warnings are relevant. Currently, I don't need echotraining. However, I took a quick look at the * source code and l1watcher_timeout seems to be defined (echotraining was not found). Currently I'm setting l1watcher_timeout to 0 which is default (so I suppose that this warning won't affect me). Any comments on this? *CLI> misdn reload
