clicking and popping with capi, okay with mISDN
I have a hfc-usb adapter connected to a Samsung PBX, and am having a bit
of trouble.
With capi, using 'immediate' mode, I can get the dialplan working just
fine, except that there is some sort of interference in the audio, and
I'm not quite sure how to describe it except that it's sort of like
clicking and popping but not harsh at all, and more like just bits of
audio missing.

Fritz, mISDN, Help
A plea to all!
Has anyone had any success with two or more avm fritz pci cards with either
misdn, chan_misdn, or chan_capi, and any version of linux 2.6.x?
I have managed to get misdn to load under 2.6.13 and detect two cards using
misdn-capi and chan-capi (using capiinfo and capi info under asterisk) - but
the second card/controller doesn't answer or dial calls.
But if I try misdn

Hi,
I have a Digium B410P 4-port BRI card.
I installed misdn 1.1.3 with hfcmulti driver and
misdnuser 1.1.3.
I configured the card "correctly" as misdnportinfo

misdn problem
I am trying to use misdn insted of zaphfc to drive two billion isdn cards
zaphfc is ok, but the problem with cdr and the fact tha you always have to
wait the bristuffed version of asterisk took me to
try another way.
so I downloaded the misdn installation script from beronet for the last
version ( I am using asterisk stable 1.2, so now is 1.2.5)

chan_capi and chan_misdn
Could someone please comment on the current state of chan_capi,
chan_misdn and chan_modem channel drivers in terms of functionality and
stability. Specifically, which channel driver would be best for a
passive PCI HFC or W6692 ISDN card. The chan_misdn wiki claims that
chan_capi distinguishes between junghanns and non-junghans cards, and
that chan_misdn is better suited for general misdn

mISDN + chan_misdn.so + winbond issue
Hi all,
Does anybody of you have the winbond w6692 working with the
mISDN/chan_misdn.so?
When loading chan_misdn.so from Asterisk, I get a "No lower Id port:1"
error. The /var/log/messages file says: "MISDN free_device: entitylist
not empty"
I'm using Linux 2.6.11.11 + mISDN-CVS-2005-05-01 + Asterisk 1.0.7 + Zaptel 1.0.7
chan_misdn build from chan_misdn-beta-0.0.3-rc6

OT - mISDN and B410P questions
Hello,
I'm evaluating to possibility to use chan_misdn as a short term workaround,
in case latest Dahdi is not stable enough for what we are planning to do (we
wish to use Junghanns and Digium BRI hardware with Asterisk 1.6) .
I've read www.mISDN.org but still have a couple of questions :
1. Is correct that in a 2.6.27 (and up) enabled kernel, the "embedded" mISDN
version is

echotraining=yes in misdn.conf is invalid or out of range.
Hi.
I'm having problems with chan_mISDN configuration. Line
"echotraining=yes" causes warning, when Asterisk is parsing misdn.conf
and I'm confused why the PBX doesn't accept the setting. No matter
which section I try to offer it, it is always invalid or out of range.
The setting itself is supposed to be valid, it is in the sample
configuration file of chan_mISDN 0.3.1.

MISDN callerid
Hi all,
I have a cologne chip card which is connected directly to the ntba.
Outgoing and incoming calls work fine, but incoming calls from ntba have
the wrong callerid (first 0 is missing). I'm using current jolly misdn
drivers and chan_misdn-14_04_05 with asterisk stable.
Is anyone seeing this behaviour too?
Thanks in advance

mIDN question
Hi,
I have switched a while back from chan_capi to chan_misdn. When the
number is dialed and the phone is then picked up everything works just
fine. Some users however FIRST pick up the phone and then start to
dial... I did not get this to work with misdn.
When two digits have been dialed, asterisk sees the extension as
complete and does not wait for further digits. I am using an midsn NT

mISDN: No DID/extension information returns busy to caller
I'm running a setup with chan_misdn on a austrian PTP-line. When
somebody dials in without an extension, he gets a busy signal.
I don't see the call at all in asterisk.
I *have* set immediate=yes in misdn.conf. And I *do* have an s-extension
in my dialplan for the context used by misdn. Calls that provide an
extension work fine.
Attached is my misdn.conf and a verbose 3, misdn set debug

misdn, no free channels, similar to FAQ one
Hi,
Since a week ago I am trying to get chan_misdn working with asterisk
1.4.19, using HFC based ISDN card on Linux 2.6.22.
My setup is done as detailed on wiki and FAQ.
* mISDN and miSDNusers are 1.1.7.2, unpacked, build and installed.
After installation and misdn-init, I have this:
aragorn:root/pts/1: # misdnportinfo
Port 1: TE-mode BRI S/T interface line (for phone lines)
