Asterisk voicemail problem with isdn avm fritz!card
Hello everyone, I have Asterisk SVN-trunk-r7498 installed on a server (celeron 2.4 Ghz, 256MB) with a TDM40b a TDM04b and an avm fritz!card pci. I experience a problem with voicemail: my messages are good unless the incoming call comes from isdn, which means via the avm fritz!card. In this case (and in this case only) the message is disjointed and I can hear at most 1 second out of a 1 minute

Very bad quality with AVM Fritz!card PCI and chan_capi
Hi everyone, I have Asterisk SVN-trunk-r7498 running for a few months and I'm quite happy with it. However, I am experiencing a quality issue with my AVM Fritz!card PCI which is used with chan_capi. When somebody calls me on this line he hears a lot of noise and I hear "scratches" and "plops". It is very annoying. Below is is my /etc/asterisk/capi.conf I've tried to

* fax reliability between ISDN PRI and FXS ports
Hi, I am building for a customer an * solution that will use 2 Digium cards. 1 x TE110P (T1 ISDN PRI) 1 x TDM40B (4 analog ports, 2 for faxes, 2 for extensions) The system will be connected to the PSTN through the T1 ISDN PRI interface. All customer extensions will be SIP phones except 2 fax machines that will use the analog FXS ports on the TDM40B card. I have been investigating on this

FXS static and noise problem
Hi: I have one TDM40B and one TDM04B on my Asterisk box. Both were working fine. Then, all of the FXS ports started to make echo sounds when I make FXS to IAX or SIP connection. All of the FXS ports fail to make bridging to the FXO channels. And when I try to make a call from the console to the FXO ports, I only hear static noise. Any suggestions about the source of the sudden change in

ISDN FXS for home use
Hi, I'm looking for an ISDN FXS for home use (so the solution has to be affordable :) Let me tell you exactly what I want to do first. I want to connect a regular home ISDN phonesystem (does not exist yet so I'm flexible with that, too) to the ISDN-PSTN and Asterisk at the same time. I want to be able to place calls through the ISDN-PSTN as well as through asterisk eg by dialing 0XXXXXX

Sending ANI to TDM40B FXS?
We are using TDM40B's to connect some devices to Asterisk which depend on caller information arriving as ANI, rather than as Caller ID. I am unsure if the TDM40B supports this in the first place, and if so, I am unsure how to configure it so. I've searched the wiki but couldn't find anything. Can someone please confirm whether or not this is possible? As a fallback I could reconfigure

ISDN problem: lacking dialtone
Hi all, this is a rather "newbie-oriented" question, so please bear with me... The system running Asterisk has been provided with an AVM FRITZ!Card PnP. SuSE Linux 9.0 recognizes it right after booting the system and it seems to be configured (MSN) correctly... The hwinfo looks like this: --- pbx:/etc/asterisk # hwinfo --isapnp 11: ISA(PnP) 01.0: 10300 ISDN Adapter [Created at

TDM400P GroundStart Problems
Hello, I am having problems configuring a TDM400P 4 Port FXO card with groundstart signalling. The box has 2 X100P's, 1 TDM04B and 1 TDM40B. I can configure it for loopstart and it works, just not groundstart, which I need for this installation. What am I missing? Thanks! Newbie Questions . . .
Hello all. My company currently has an older Executone PBX system that we are outgrowing. Rather than wait until the last minute to make a hasty decision, I thought it would be a good idea to do some research and compare options first. My expertise is in computers and networking, and telephony systems are mostly foreign to me. What we currently have are 5 incoming POTS lines and 25

Accessing ISDN with avm bluetooth hardware
Hi *, This is my first message to this list, so I hope I am not breaking any rule with my post. My question is the following: can I establish a voice connection over an ISDN interface by using a bluetooth dongle to connect to the ISDN access point? Here follow the details: I have compiled and configured asterisk. Everything seems fine except that when I configure asterisk to use the ISDN

ISDN, AVM C4, HFC-cards and echo
Hello, I've been using * for quite a while using AVM C4 card and a few Grandstream Budgetone 102 hard phones plus couple of HandyTone 286. Echo is a big problem. I am getting used to it, but some users complain. Anyone has experience w/ regards to echo comparing the AVM C4 with two HFC-cards? Before shelling out time and money, maybe someone else already has done so, and could tell me if

ISDN Cards available in Australia
Hi, I'm after some ISDN card resellers in Australia. I've noticed the AVM cards should work well here, however I've found the reseller here has no website, is listed in Yellow pages as management consultants (??) and when I called quoted almost $400. Does anyone know where I can get the AVMs in Australia a bit cheaper or another card (not the Netjet) that works with Asterisk.
