REPOST: features.conf *1 Call Recording
Hi all. I posted this earlier but never got any advice that helped. If
anyone knows how to get this going, I'd appreciate some advice.
I am attempting to setup Asterisk to allow me to press *1 while in a
call to use automon to record the call but have had absolutely no
success. Is there a trick to this?
In extensions.conf

Meetme conference room duplex issue
?? Hello.? We are very successfully using asterisk (in the form of trixbox 2.2/asterisk 1.2).? We run a few conference lines for customer teleconferences which mostly work well but they seem to operate at half duplex.? If a person starts talking they will cut off others on the call.? Is this normal behavior?? Are there any options I can change to change this?
?? Thanks!

No cdr_csv after upgrade from 1.2.x to 1.4.x
After upgrading from 1.2.x to 1.4.x call detail records are not being
written to /var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv/Master.csv
In cdr_manager.conf I have
[general]
Enabled = yes
Apparently there is something else that needs to be configured for call
detail records in 1.4.x. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Had it with Dell Garbage
I've had it with Dell server garbage. They seem to change RAID
controllers as much as I change socks, and then the controllers don't work
with Linux, unless you load a new driver. They sell servers with a PCI-e
slot in them, but then you get it and find out the RAID controller is using
the PCI-e slot! Their sales folks are dumber than rocks, and they change
them more often than I

Running Xen 3.0, guest OS does not open a window
Dear Xen community,
I have Xen 3.0 installed on RedHat Linux Enterprise RHEL4U2. "xend
install" runs fine with no error messages.
However, when I start "xm cr guest-vmx.conf" I do not get any new window
open for the new guest OS. "xm list" shows that the vmx has started and
seems to be working fine (just for testing, when I type "xterm" an X

Is SIPPEER curcalls working for you ?
Hi,
In this thread
http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2008-October/219592.html ,
I wondered whether SIPPEER curcalls was working.
I could test this anew today. Here are my findings :
Alice, Bob and Carol ar all using SIP Phones.
Whenever Alice is calling Bob,
- if Carol is calling Alice, SIPPEER(Alice:curcalls) equals 0
- if Carol is calling Bob, SIPPEER(Bob:curcalls) equals 1

Regular expression to define contents between parentheses
Hello dear R-helpers,
I haven't been able to figure out of find a solution in the R-help archives about how to delete all the characters contained in groups of parenthesis. I have a vector that looks more or less like this:
myvector<-c("something (80 km/h, sd) & more (6 kg/L,sd)", "somethingelse (48 m/s, sd) & moretoo (50g/L , sd)")
I want to extract all

mini_magick - 2 clarifications
1. I have seen examples similar to the following:
image = MiniMagick::Image.from_file("input.jpg")
image.resize "100x100"
image.write("output.jpg")
I''m assuming that image.resize is a method. Is there any significance
to the fact that the argument for that method is not enclosed in
parenthesis while the other are? Examples seem to be consistent --

Specifying a Form name using start_/form_tag
Hey all.
I''m trying use the form tag(s) to create a named / id''d form. I.e.,
I need to use JS to access the form via the DOM and submit it -
support for a reusable navigation component which will persist app
state on each jump.
However, from reading the form_tag APIs and searching google, I don''t
see where either :name or :id is an option which can be passed

vhba and storage pool creation
Hi!
Got a couple of storage questions here.
I'm a storage guy, running a new project, and just started with libvirt, but have been using qemu/kvm on other platforms before, as well as oVirt.
So, my questions here:
I started with creating a vhba, and that went fine, I could see it on the storage side logging in to the target with its wwn.
My next step would be to make it persistent, and

I've never used FreePBX, but, after having looked at its website, I
think I have a general understanding of what it can do. What I don't
understand is how FreePBX answers my question about the Linksys SPA3102
being good for a mission

rsync not copying owner/group on some files
I am trying to use rsync 2.4.6 to try creating a backup using another
locally connected hard disk. Thing copy, but sometimes the group is eith
numeric (valid). Often the owner is not even shown.
This is the command I use for rsync:
rsync-2.4.6/rsync -arxlHpogDt /usr/ /backup/usr/ --delete
I login as root.
Any help would be appreciated.

classification tree out put
Hello,
I'm attempting to classify data using tree(). summary(tree()) indicates
that I have a very good classification rate. What I'd like to know is
which tokens in the data set are correctly classified and which are not.
Is there a method for associating the classification with the token?
I've been reading Chambers and Hastie (1992) chapter 9 on tree-based
models, but find no
